Just talked to 3rdI, I'll be going to his hooch after work tonight. ?And we'll try to load the pics on my Lap Top and post here ! ?Pics will include all versions of the TBBW, Hickory Farms Installation, Falcon 1E8 and Storm Falcon conversions (posted it before, Falcon 1s with original unreleased SM2 Wave Serpent turret !) and more ! So if all goes well, they'll be posted ! ? Was going to post yesterday, but he, his mate & clones went to a Medievel Fair ... so that is an acceptable excuse, IMO ! ?

The validity of that excuse depends entirely on how the wenching (and other partying) is at said medieval fair, L4. (Ah, my 'home kingdom' of An Tir. Some of the best parties in the entire SCA, and one of the only places on Earth that not getting laid means that you're actively trying ... to not get laid!)
My Senior Drill Instructor always said that the maximum effective range of an excuse is zero meters, though.
Started work on a 40k-scale Stingray. I found that a 1/72nd AGM-154 Joint Stand-Off Weapon (JSOW) [swiped from a Hasegawa weapons pack] is a little bigger than the 40k Seeker Missile. Cut the tail off a seeker missile (oh, wait, the Skyray's 6 missiles are already in two pieces like that!) and the tail off the JSOW, and stick the Seeker Missile tail onto the butt end of the JSOW. Instant submunition missile. Now I just need to figure out how to represent it in 40k rules!
Opened up the GW Skyray box to find both the Skyray sprue and the Hammerhead Sprue! No more reason to buy either the Devilfish or the Hammerhead, and you'll finally have enough Seeker Missiles to arm your vehicles correctly! (especially with some judicious RE magnet use)
Had an idea for a wicked Tau tank, involving the sensor cluster off an Apache helo, a new turret, and some serious chop&channel action on the Devilfish chassis, but I don't know. Lack of $$ is getting to be a killer.

Well, with the wife & clones along, I'm sure no wenching was in order. However, I too still use the "Zero meters line" ! It's too good ! But we still posted most of pics Monday night ! Mission accomplished for the most part ... And I'm off to drop off a few resumes' ... if my short stupid steriod abusing boss gives me on any more petty crap ... I'll have a flashback and think he's N. Korean !

I'm almost done painting my 20 IG heavy stands. Boots and helmets are done and last night I started painting their weapons, completing about half of them. All that is left is the rest of the weapons, a little touch-up work to fix a few things caused by my lack of dexterity and painting the bases green. I'll get around to flocking them later.

With Wife and clones in tow, that just increases the quantity of wenches required. Find some strapping, young heavy fighter (or perhaps a fencer, depending on the wife's taste) for the wife, and some nice young things for the clones. Problem solved! ... What? Don't look at me in that tone of voice! My SCA houselord and lady do the same thing!
The Submunition missiles are becoming a little more complicated, as the JSOW body is thinner than the Seeker Missile, but that's what sheet styrene is for. I'm also trying to make the turret different, so that the ship is carrying more than 6 submunition missiles (and making room for Seeker Missiles). I may need to re-write the fluff again if I can't find a good look... Maybe the Hellfire quad-rack, or the triple rack for a Maverick...

Krooza: Are you machining plastic pieces?
Because if you hand-carved that beveling I think I may just give up completely.

As of August 22, what I will be working on is...
An MA program.

Good grief, the Orks are facing a crisis - their very best Big Meck was a Bonesinger indisguise!
VERY nice - great pose, and should work as an Eldar. More bits!
