Hi all,
yesterday I spent a busy hour clearing up the workbench and seeking out old models and trying to decide which 40K army to tackle. And I think I solved the issue with an Inquisition/SM/IG/Chaos hybrid which fits the rules  :p More when I've refined the concept....all I can say is the vehicle colours should be to L-4s taste.

I also FINALLY found where my ex-US/CS fleets had hidden to avoid turning Venetian - more strange and terrible and rather nice Peter Pig 1/650 scale ships will appear under the flag of St. Mark soon.

Dafrca's Atlases - today is filler day for these and for another project, which, funnily enough, was started off by a model sent to me by the leader of the Dafrca Corps himself...

Working on my 1st Tyranid spore chimney - it's cluttered up the workbench for too long, and it's too big to do so - so it must get done!

The new-old CI and the Polar Warriors. And a bundle of Land Train bits for the joint Squat and Venetian flags.

Now CS, PLEASE destroy the old new year's resolution thread, as I'm certain that none of these listed items had anything to do with those resolutions so many months ago........  :(  :p

Aye-aye, sir!
Tas, you'll love those Peter Pig boats I'm building.... ?:D

Later.... all 12 remaining ships assembled - for the first tie in years, all the models I own belonging to a single game are assembled.

:D Filler applied to the Atlases and to the 'other project'. Meanwhile I'm planning a missile base for a - ummm - client who'd paid too much for a job  :;):

I started applying filler to the old Star Destroyer too, but when it seemd to be taking as long as filling a ral ship of that size, I gave it up for the day.....

One 40K Siege Warden marine test painted - base decor and varnish - and perhaps the odd transfer - left.

One conversion started, and one spore chimney in progress - not to mention a titan for the SG comp.

Not a bad day's work.

Yessir, L-4 sir, doing our best, sir!
YEp Tas -I'm not getting much leave, but at least I'm trying to fill in a few gaps with modelling.
Meanwhile - seeing I have a deadline today (a holiday here), I've decided to reorder all - yes, ALL - my troops and models in the below-staircase mess. Sigh. I'll try to send pics.... if I survive...

I have a month off when I get back in December.

My summer project is get everything in one house (still some stuff scattered since 1994 when I joined the Navy!) and unpack ALL my gaming stuff in one place and see just what the heck I have!

Then the ebaying will commence...

And now, an update.
I spent most of the day clearing up the place - especially the old workbench - and then collapsed! The weather was terrible today - very hot, VERY humid, and a bit overcast with a greyish glare which seems to inspire my migraine - perhaps if the good doctor in PR sees the web he might confirm a connection.  :D
The down side is I failed the deadline miserably - but the Atlases should be ready by the weekend.  :(

On the plus side - I can see the workstation surface again; I found my missing Epic SMs; I dug out the Gargant which had disappeared during the last round of Tale of Epic Gamers leaving me stuck for the last week; and I produced a huge garbage bag of junk - no, don't come to check, there are NO minis in it  :p

I also realised I have at least 7(yes, seven) bits boxes (possibly more - I didn't have time to go through all the stuff):
1 Epic + BFG box
1 40K box
1 40K vehicle bit box
1 WHFB box
1 general stuff box
1 old kit parts box
1 plastic gearwheel box

And I found so many small boxes and bags with Ork and Imperial Epic stuff that I was groaning each time this happened again at the end  :p At least the Orks are now penned in a single Epic SM box, whilst most of the Imperials are housed with the Squats in another of equal size - most, because after I put it away I discoverd my latest acquisition of Drop Pods and Rough Riders.

I also saw something new: when we cook, my wife does the difficult bits whilst I do the donkey work, as I'm not good at much else in the kitchen (although my Gozo cheeselet soup is not too bad....). Whilst peeling potatoes one of the cats (Sarastro, the latest addition) came up, sniffed the peelings, and promptly at four bits of peel in rapid succession. Unless it's a variant of the grass-eating habit which helps them get rid of fur in the stomach, this is the weirdest yet....
