I will play a Medusa V game against panzee. I have never played against them before and I am a little concerned.
Their ships are extremely fast an maneuberable. And their hollofields look like a problem.
My only requirement (for the campaign) is to take a hulk. I don't see that as something bad. But I have issues with the rest of the army:
With their shields/fields, direct fire weapons seem the choice! The problem is range. I am afraid that I will never be within 30 cm.
So, escorts look like a good choice. Maybe even Ramships to field a million (20 ?) of them.
Or perhaps onslaughts... but I feel that I will still be outmaneuvered.
I thought rokks could be a good plan. With 360 LOS and fair maneuverability, they seem soemthing that can put some presure on him.
The hulk seems a waste. With ordnance being his main strength and being so uneffective against eladar.
kroozers, I believe are the weakest against panzee with so many lances. But I don't really know.
So, I need advice for a 1500 pointer.
I just realized... I spoke orky. So, for anyone who's unaware, I am looking for advice orks vs eldar.

With Orks against the Eldar, you really need to mass your ships to mutually support each other. Weapon batteries are the best defence, with some Heavy Batteries in case you manage to get within short range. I would suggest that you make sure when the Eldar hit, you leave them no-where to run to out of targetting. This can be difficult, and you want to avoid terrain and asteroids, etc.
Fighta-Bomberz are also useful, since Eldar dont have turrets in defence, and your Fightas can be used to cover areas away from the main fleet to mass up on Eldar torpedos (and Nightshades!).
And, if you have a Brute Ram Ship which can connect with an Eldar Cruiser, dont waste the opportunity.
Good luck, it is not an easy matchup.
