Yes, you are both correct !  My version, which is now 99% complete, is a hybrid of a Falcon Mk.1, with modifactions inspired by Vanvlak and zap !  Pics soon plus the TBBWs and more !

Hi all,
here's a site you won't see too often - an Imperial armour 'big gun' assembly line.
8 box Vindicators being painted for the Polar Warriors space marines and 3 Atlas superheavy self-propelled siege guns for the Dafrca Corps. The black Mk II is complete; the unfinished pair of MkIIIs need filler and (obviously) paint. The latter are very slightly different from the MkII due to an alteration to the gun elevation, resulting from fabrication requirements. Hope you don't mind, Dafrca!

Oh boy, this is exciting!!!!

As for the guns, not to worry. I think slight variations give character to the formation.

Love the progress report and the idea that they will share a heritage with the Great Polar Warriors? Vindicators.

Glad you're pleased. See. the deadline business is working - even if I set it myself!  :p
And yes, they shared the same factory. In fact the Atlases were inspired by the Vindy, which has to be one of my very favourite 40K designs in all its forms and scales. I see the Atlas as th superheavy version of the Vindicator.

I could see that. Similar look, layout, and function. Makes a lot of sense.

(with one exception, who is only slightly fuzzy-minded, and not a despot at all - although he IS a dentist!).


Bizarrely, my father has just been made an associate Professor at the University of Melbourne...and he is a dentist also...
