Got'm all (well most of them !)!

From SM1 to E:A!

And will buy more if released, but in the mean time, DRM, GZG and maybe Baccus (in the future), will get my $$$ if something catches my eye! :D ?

Did I hear Maksim say, Baccus bought the old 6mm Gladiator line ?

That is correct L4.  I'm in MS' 6mm & 6mm Sci Fi groups on Yahoo and the head man at Baccus himself announced it.  No specifics were given on when they would be made available.  However, those "with connections" may know more than has been announced.

Hi Guys,

I can disclose this since it's public...

The majority of the new Baccus 6mm sci-fi line is the old Gladiator line...

However, there are some new sculpts and some Gladiator sculpts that were never released by them.

I will share more when I get permission to do so from the big man.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Yes epic 40k minis were the best. The current ones are improved over them only if you REALLY value not having to do as much assembly.  I dislike assembling minis, but I do like the extra variety the E40k minis had.

Thanks M/S & Con, for the intell update ! ?We await more ... ? ? ? ?    And I liked the E40K variety (a marketing tactic ?!), but it was not needed, IMO ... However, I bought one of each ! ? I'm goofy that way ! ?:;):

Funny, I thought the DRM miniatures looked just proper enough for me. So did the GZG miniatures and troops, so did quite a few other lines I can think of.  ???

Look, if we want to have what we want and move forward dispite GW failing to support the game, then we must shift past the fanboy way of thinking.

That's very good if you want to make armies for RL games or some generic sci-fi games but I want to make armies for EPIC armies and not for some modern day wargame armies. Those I will build for games appropriate for them and have US armies fighting against hordes of chinese tanks or Germany invading Russian or any other scenario I can think off.

No EPIC models available and my EPIC armies won't grow. Simple as that. And no ebay option for me, I would be limited to what ever happens irrequlary pop into finnish FB/40k forums selling section. Not fun.

Note: It's not like I dislike other 6mm lines. They just don't fit for my taste for epic. I would happily use them in appropriate games but they would just look cheap imitations in epic field rather than actually being unit it tries to resemble.

Well... I used to hold that opinion a long time ago.  But my desire to actually PLAY Epic has squashed this like a bug.  If you wait on GW to produce stuff, you will never get anywhere.

May I remind people that GW/SG/FW do in fact have extensive ranges on sale which are of better quality than previous epic ranges:

Marines
Imperial Guard
Eldar
Orks
Tau

Missing is Chaos (though much of this is very similar to the Marine and Guard ranges anyway - and what isn't should hopefully be released in February).

Tyranids -  Need to be released - but remember how long it took them to be released in what people refer to as 'the good old days of epic'  :;):

Necrons - Need to be released, if these actually have a place in Epic which is debatable. They do seem to be as case of 'people want them therefore they will be created'.

Hi!

Well, I for one would not cry if GW misses a 6mm sci-fi re-awakening, they had their chance....
