Looks like they actually listened to people on this one...

SG has a new forum subsection for discussion of OOP GW games (Space Hulk, Dark Future etc, MOW, etc).

Nice move. Does not hurt them and it allows fans to feel part of the grater whole.

Wish everything they did was this smart. :;):

I saw that yesterday. It's about time GW gets its head out of its a** and realize that gamers still want to discuss OOP games. Heck, you can even still buy new minis for some of the old games, like Space Hulk.

I might just do that, which is why I was asking about the Hulk.

New Terminators is probably pushing it given the base size and the cost plus the fact I have extra metal ones, but some extra Genestealers may well be on the menu if I try and work the Deathwing expansion in with my copy of second edition Hulk.

Have you seen how some of these things sell as complete systems on ebay. They needed to get this up, we where discussing this about two weeks ago at our regular games night, they loose alot of money by not supporting these things, but I guess we have discussed that topic to death elsewhere.

Cheers

Well given that they have added this section - maybe the moaning actually does some good ?:;):

Seeing games your company used to sell and still has IP for, selling for large amounts of money on e-bay, might tickle the brain of even the most intractable GW exec :)

Not that I'm aware of, but I could be wrong.

Bombot and V:

When the new plastic termies came out, GW found a PDF of the Space Hulk floor tiles, scaled it up to fit the 40mm bases, and posted it online (black gobbo, IIRC).

They also posted some instructions for making 3d floors from vinyl raingutters and other stuff you can find in a DIY store that you might be interested in.

I'm not having any luck finding the article right now, though.

I'm sure at some point GW will make some plastic flooring tiles, and release a new version of Space Hulk.
