Much cleaner list than when started. Very good progress.

Updated the list again after some suggestions on the SG boards. And someone actually play-testing the list and finding some of it is quite over-priced and under-powered. So here's the updated list.

one suggestion i would not say the strike cannon is main gun off a strike crusier because one of those guns would be as large as emporer titan weaponry if not bigger. i would say one of the ordance defence guns is more appropriate. if you look on pages 157 and 107 of the BFG rulebook it will show you the vast scale of BFG guns

If an Ordinatus can mount a Nova Cannon (Which, by the way, is THE strongest weapon asside from the Chaos World Killer, in BFG) then I see no reason a Land Raider can't mount a piddly little Strike Cruiser cannon. The Nova Cannon, by all rights, s hould be a good 2 feet long in Epic scale. But that's what the Ordinatus Armageddon carries. So I'm not terribly worried about it.

well the ordinati is in "titan scale" and should be 2 feet long. the warlord titan should be two feet tall and it is not. (rough figures i have not done the calcuations)
here are the pictures i mentioned

edit: pic didnt work

See, I HAVE actually done the calculations on the Emperor before. It stands about a foot tall in Epic-scale. The Warlord is about six inches. Even if the Ordinatus is half-size as the other Titans are, then it's still likely only about six inches long. Big, but not that big. I might change what weapon it is mounted on it. But I don't think it's a big issue personally. In actuality I didn't write the fluff for that particular item (One of my friends did) I just made the suggestion of the item itself. A Land Raider with what amounted to a Volcano Cannon mounted on it instead of other weapons. What kind of weapon would be more suitable for it then?

What about calling it a defense laser ala the emperor titan carapace laser. Its about the right scale for the LR and is the sort of thing I can imagine being jerry fitted as a titan killer. I
Incidentally I quite liked the idea of it being a strike cruiser weapon, although I was imagining it as a strike cruiser turret gun. I like the idea that a spacecraft point defense system makes an epic scale titan killer.
Also im liking the list Ilushia!

The PD-weapon idea is the one I'm most likely to use. The idea was that the Wolves were cut off, and lacking any real backup. So they improvised as they are quite famous for. Plus, the PD weapons on Strike Cruisers shoot d own Mantas in BFG scale, so even one woefully under-powered should equate to a TK(D3) weapon at the least!

I'd also written up a SW list, in addition to a Dark Angels list. ?
Here's my list.
There are a few errors on my list, too, but I'm working on getting it cleaned up to repost here. Most of the people that had tested my list were quite impressed with it, saying that it played very 'Wolfy' without too many special rules. IIRC, I didn't add a single special rule. I did, however, rename a lot of units.
FWIW, my Wolf list had enough MW attacks that I didn't really worry about killing Titans.
Also, Long Fangs armed with 4x Heavy Weapons per stand should be about 1.41 times more expensive (twice the firepower, same survivability has been shown to be about 1.41x more effective, from RL experience), although I just added the cost difference between a Marine stand (1 HW) and a Dev stand (2 HW) to a Dev stand twice.
I gave Wolf Scouts Teleport to represent Operating Behind Enemy Lines, and tweaked the FF Values a bit (including a MW FF attack for the meltagun).

That's a fairly cool list. Better organized then mine is for certain. Looks like we hit on a few common things (like the only greatly outnumbered idea), and some things went very different... It looks fairly cool though.

Ilushia, could the Long Fangs perhaps count as having a leader in their formation without actually having one? It would just seem to go with the flow of the rest of the list i.e all unit types have a leader in-built.... ?We'd obviously up the points of the formation, but to me given the "Some few, such as Long Fangs, will not have a conventional leader" quote, they would have enough wisdom and cool-headedness in battle to be almost leader-like themselves. We could say the formation counts as having a leader not that an individual stand has the leader ability....? So if one unit is killed the others still carry on as if they had a leader(i.e still remove the extra BM etc), effectively meaning that it would never lose the ability. Not sure how to point cost this. Would it need a great change in cost though? This seems more fluffy to me.
Just an idea anyway...

Mff. Sorry. I updated the list and don't think I ever bothered to post it here again! Anyway... Here's the current list version. Some serious points review in it and a few upgrades got swaped around.
