I can't believe my luck, as soon as I go on to the GW site for some Epic SM in the sale, they have none left!!! Arrrrrrgggghhh!!!

Anyway, I am looking for anyone who has any metal SM tanks and attack bikes and land speeders and any blisters. (Don't ask for much do I?)

I need these to finish my chapter.

Anyone?? :;):

Cheers

Chris

I had the same problem. I have been anticipating Ork Battlewagons for about two weeks, and they never appeared!

Huh, the GW US site still sells metal vehicles. I just made a purchase a few days ago.

Never, ever order off the G/W US web site !!! ?Call the M.O. Trolls, and they usually can Help. ? I just ordered some Epic vehicles for Darkone, and they arrived, with only one set of parts on back order. ?If they have the mold, they spin them up for you. ?If you look in the 2002 listings, they have everything by part. ?And they even have some stuff dating back to SM1 and limited release, like the SM Drop Ship, Exodites, etc. ... ?? ? ? :;): ? I do it all the time ? ...

Why not? It's quick and simple. I only use it for current models anyway. Do they charge more or something? I know there are things(like SM plastics) that they have yet to remove. I do use the MO for the older and exotic bits. 50 bucks for a dropship. It is no worse than the MO. ####, I still have parts on back order from three months ago with the MO. ####, now that I think about it. MO has gotten every single one of my orders wrong. With one exeption. Sometimes in my favor. But, always missing something.

My experience is different. ?Since I try to collect all versions of all types. ?Price is the same as far as I can tell. If they make a mistake it is usually rectified by a phone call. ?And you are correct, in that they usually err in our favor. ?I was lucky and got my 2 Drop Ships, years ago when my friend was working at G/W. ?I've been "Epicing" for 12 years, so I can only comment on this based on my opinion, of how I buy my models. ??I may be wrong. ??But I prefer to order my metal models by part as opposed to a blister packed by Bevis & Butthead ? ? ? :p ...

Funny, I have had just the opposite experiance. I called to buy some models and the Troll wanted to charge me full bit price for complete models. For example this ment he wanted to charge me $5.50 for a $3.00 Leman Russ. I placed the order on line, received the complete (more then 30 models) order in three days. All there and at the price shown on the website.

I have also have had nothing but dumb trolls when I called. I always hear how helpful they are. The trolls couldn't answer a single question or for some reason couldn't find the answer for me. I guess they don't make trolls like they used to. ?:)

I think we approach this from different positions. ?I want to collect one of each type/version of a model. You (Signius & Dafrca) want to gather a large army. ??? I can look in the back of a W/D or 2002 listing and order the parts I need to make one of each of the models. ?Example: I just ordered Chimeras for Darkone, there are 5 turrets, 5 tracks, & 4 hulls, he (& I), wanted not only to have gaming pieces, but to collect for ascetic purposes. ? I've been doing it this way for many years, and that works for me. ?Do what works for you  ... If I only can get E-A models by blister (packed by Larry, Curly & Moe ? ), I'll sell you my extras, here at cost ... ?:D
