I am free this weekend and was wondering if people wanted to meet to play and actually see some of the people that post on this forum.

I have my fully painted Ultramarines, my in progress Imperial Guard, and some Eldar, Orks, & Squats I just got on Ebay. Let me know if you are interested in the Squats.

Maybe all the people who are in the DC area are not on the new board yet.  This is odd.  Please reply soon if you are able to play or even if you think another day would be better.

Did you get anyone to play against?  I sure hope so.  

I had to turn down a game today because it was my Anniversary.  Can't complain, my wife's great, her main gift to me was DRM!

No... I sadly didnt not get any replies here or pms so I ended up not going.  I am hopefully going to go up this next weekend and teach my younger brother how to play Epic.

Wow. I wish I had found this earlier, like last friday. I might have actually been able to make it up there  :angry:

Anyway. I live in the DC area. I'll try to get a ride up there this weekend if possible and bring my AMTL army. And menace you with horribly painted giant metal death machines!

Hmmm... Lemme know what time... I might be able to get a fourth player down there too depending on what time of day you do it (Well maybe... I dunno how he'd feel about going to a GW store!)

I'll try to make it... But somehow I doubt I'll manage. It depends on if I can get my ride up and awake before then... I haven't had time to finish painting the new pieces of my army either... So if I do show up I'll either be using my old army-list or one with several unpainted bits in it  :;):

Just to let those wondering, we got two games in and talked about the game in general.  I lost two game, marines versus AMTL, first game was relatively close, a single tactical error on my part (not landing a Thunderhawk and having it take off at the end of turn 3) resulting in a 2-1 vicotyr to Ilushia, the second game the Emperor was in play and destroyed the center of my Space Marine army, very powerful indeed. Pictures to come along with more detailled battle report.
