My Saturday was not as productive as I hoped. However, I did complete the base coat of the eight Andrayada stands. I hope to make further progress on them in the remaining two days.

Didn't get much done this weekend.  Stripped and scrubbed about 20 plastic Land Raiders and 40 Rhinos.  Most of which will end up as Ork conversions some day.

Also have about 20 various metal Ork gun wagons still soaking the paint off.

Planned out a couple of new Ork conversions that may or may not ever see the light of day.  The ideas just seem to accumulate faster then they can ever be made. :(

In my mind, that is one of the hardest parts about playing and collecting Orks. It is too easy to come up with cool ideas for conversions.  :)

Course that does not mean you shouldn't play them and just keep a "To Do" list.

Today I based 12 Eldar knights, another objective and 3 rapiers. I also spent some time reorganizing my minis. I had to shuffle some of the ammo boxes I store my minis to make room for new acquistions. Tomorrow will fianlly be the day I can primer. Yay!!

Painting 30 minutes every early working day and if I manage 30-60 minutes in the evening (outside with a glass of red wine) makes some good painted models. I only hope the wine didn't obscure my view too much!

Hi Guys,

I ended up running around most of the weekend, but I have some Baccus sci-fi minatures laid out among some others to work on.

I also have some 10mm sci-fi GROPOS minis I want to work on.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Sad to say I got almost nothing done, Hobby Wise, today.

I feel bad because I started this, but real life has a way of killing the best laid plans of mice and man.

I hope the rest of you will post pictures and tell us about your projects.

As expected, today was the day I was able to do some primering. Here is what I primered:

IG/TL: two Warlords (one MK II, one Mk III), three Hydras, 10 TL-era Paladins and one Baron.

Squats: one Leviathan, four Colossi, two Cyclopes, two Land Train Engines, 12 Land Train Cars, four Thunderfires, three Goliaths, nine Gyrocopters, six Overlords, two moles and six termites. This is all of my metal Squat minis. For the next Imterantional Special Projects day(s), I might prime all of my plastic Squat minis.

Marines: 48 Tac stands, 4 Company HG stands, 16 Assault stands, 10 Termie stands, 4 Scout stands, 2 Tech Marines stands, 3 Chaplains and 3 Librarians. Except for the Tac stands and Compnay HQs, all the Marines are only partially primed. My can of Ultramarine spray paint finally died.  :(  Since GW no longer makes UM blue in spraypaint form, I'll have to finish them by hand.  :(  I'm sure going to miss those cans of color spray paint.

I also managed to prime the six objectives I assembled yesterday.

All in all it was a productive day, but I actually would have gotten more done if I hadn't killed my can of UM blue and nearly killed my can of primer. There is probably a little more white primer left, but the UM blue is definitely dead. Combined with the basing and assembling done the prior two days, I would say this weekend was a big success.

Wow - nice workload there, DS.
Those spray cans were a good thing - and so of course, were scratched.

Thanks for the praise, guys.

I heard that one of the reasons GW nixed the spraypaint was because it didn't match the paint in the jars. If it's true, it makes sense, but I'm sure going to miss UM blue in spraypaint form. It sure was a huge time saver.

I wonder how close to the real color you could get using other brands?  ???

Don't know. I've never tried to find a close match. I have a feeling that it wouldn't be close enough.
