Trying to focus........

Dafrca's eternal tanks (no, not classified, eternal because I'm taking forever - am currently grinding out gun barrels!)

Not to worry. I know they will come and when they do, it will be like Christmas!  :;):

Groan - at this rate, it may well be Christmas!
ok, time to set a deadline. August 10th for the tanks; August 31st for the 'other job'.

I know, Dafrca - but I have to get a pile of things done, and this has been held back for too long.

And to make things worse.....
'I'm painting a dwarf,
a very blue dwarf,
not white or black but blue...'

Good job you can't hear me sing - I'd be banned off the boards.
And yes, I am painting a dwarf (WHFB), which might be the first of many as I've broken the national dwarf-painting speed record (base not included). No weird conversions - just an - uh - unconventional paint scheme...

Now WHERE is that coffee....
(I don't know what   means, but wanted to try it out) Looks a lot how I feel before kahwa too.

That means coffee.

And it's not even Maltese, which anyone can learn: coffee = kafe. See? Easy. :p

Here's my coffee mug.
And the blue dwarf.

Oh, and the cat calendar, which shows it's today here in Malta too. ?:;): ?:p

The question is, bearing the previous posts song in mind, is what are the CDs? a dodgy taste in music perhaps ?
Interesting Dwarf, but I'm sure the back story is even more interesting....so give it to us 'V'

I'm still making one up, involving Bluejohn and other ideas. And Bluejohn is a mineral  :p

As for the music - it's not. Those are backup CDs of my wife's MPhil and pathology work. Mostly pics of bits of people.

It might just be the angle of the pic, but that is one manly-sized coffee mug you've got there, Van.  :D

I added some finishing touches to my six Gorgons. They are almost ready to be sealed. I also spent a fair amount of time cleaning and organizing my work area. It was getting awfully cluttered.  :p I put away things I had glued/based recently, but won't be painting right away. It looks so much better now.

Love the mug!

The Dwarf is interesting, why Blue?

Cleaned out a few boxes last night. Finished putting together a box that is on it's way to Oz now.

Started to put things together into one place for the July Special Project Day.

Started work on my 2 (40k) FW Broadsides.  tacked one together into a running position (why not?  Nobody else has one running, and it's got the stabilization system so it can move and fire).  Trying to get the other one to lie down on it's back, without hosing the ammo feeds.  Those of you who have seen the new Appleseed movie have an idea what I'm trying to make it look like (the scene with the Suits hiding under the overpass, waiting for a shot at the Mobile Fortress).  Once I figure out how to pose the model, then I'll add a ruined 'overpass' over the suit.

Read through IA4, the Anphelion Project (it arrived Monday, along with the Broadsides).  Very interesting, and very different from Taros.  Cold, nasty ammonia swamp of a place.  I think someone had watched 'Aliens' while they were brainstorming, as the planets are similar.

Also have an interview with the Idaho State Dept. of Education August 1.  Evidently they need an Admin Assistant.  I just need to convince them that they need ME.  [Crosses fingers]
