The Unicorn is a really, really clever conversion.

Is there any eldar Exodites list for SM? i'm interested because that's a system i understand well, & i would like to see how are they.
Anyway, your conversions are amazing(specially the riders. Simply breathtaking). Have you wondered about converting 6mm fantasy elven infantry for use as exodite infantry?

I think you could use the NetEpic Exodite list under the SM2 rules with little problem. ?Just have to translate "Fire on the Fly" into a special for the Lethosaurs...otherwise I think it'd drop straight in.
Have you wondered about converting 6mm fantasy elven infantry for use as exodite infantry? | Now that's not a bad idea for the CC Warriors.....any recommendations? ?I'm not overly chuffed with Irregular, but they have the advantage of being cheap for me. ?The Baccus stuff does look nice.
I'm doing the Fuseliers by mixing up the lasgun and lascannon Guardians with the odd Scout stand for a less regular appearance. ?I had though of using a mix of Harlies and Scorpions for warriors, but I don't have enough of the former.

Quote (zap123 @ 13 June 2006 (17:14)) | Now that's not a bad idea for the CC Warriors.....any recommendations? ? | Not really, as i know almost no 6 mm miniature manufacturers... i tried to buy some civil guard infantry (to make up my IG infantry numbers) from irregular but they mismatched the number and sent me a lorry, so i don't know about their detail level, but i think it can vary wildly from one reference to another (see the spanish civil war miniatures and the napoleonic range and judge for yourself!), so i don't know what to tell you.
Have you seen the "DRM does it again" thread? maybe they will make some exodite-looking infantry.
A last question: Do Exodites field something like tactical infantry (like guardians or IG infantry)? and, if it's the case, what's their equipment and how do they look like?

I've been waiting with bated breath for the DRM riders. ?The sculpt is nice, but a bit larger than I was expecting and twee too expensive for my pocketbook. ?I might get 3 blisters to make a Lethosaur detachment next time I'm really flush. ?I am hoping DRM will make a smaller cousin....their ranges are for the most part looking pretty sweet.
The NetEpic Exodite list has Fusilier company and dets (aka Guardians) with lasguns listed as the weapons. ?I'm using a mix of the old lasgun and lascannon Eldar with the odd Ranger thrown in. ?Paint job coming up soon.

Quote (Legion 4 @ 21 June 2006 (07:05)) | Cutting up DRM !!! Blasphamy !!!!! ? | Why?
Seems like the obvious choice for future conversions as they are at least:
a) Reasonable in price
and
b) Going to be around for a while, unlike their SG firends.
