Discovered I had a lot more Chaos Androids than I realized... two Phalanxes worth! (Though one could always do with more!  *laugh*)
Here's the first basic formation I did up on the weekend.  Wasn't sure how to designate different formations on the battlefield as Necrons don't really have unit markers.  Probably just going to go with different colour "stripes" on their shoulder pads.
My thanks to Hojyn for the inspiration to use Techmarines as Necron Lords!

These look great!
Look forward to seeing more of the army as you finish it.

Thanks Hojyn, means a lot coming from a Necron Lord like yourself!
That Objective marker is, basically, just "buried Necron device"... *laugh* Made from a Tombship I had lying around... hoping to make 3-4 Necron Objectives out of it!
I really like the look of the "Librarian" Lord in that link, wish there was a better close-up to see what was clipped/altered.
As to my Necron forces, well, I've only got another Phalanx-worth of Chaos Androids, and I'm going to be doing up Exarch-style Pariahs like you did, from there, I'm not sure yet...
I do have a friend using DRM models for Necrons and he's been secretively working on Monoliths and Obelisks, but has not yet revealed them...

Well, here's both Phalanxes essentially done, plus another Necron Objective marker.
One day I hope to acquire enough Chaos Androids to do 3 Phalanxes, as that seems to be about right for 3000 point games.

Love them. I really like how the objectives are going as well. The one on the right is wonderful Could be almost anything and yet is obviously a Necron item.
Good work so far, look forward to the remaining elements as you do them.

I agree. You got a lot out of that ship.
Now you just need to finish the army, then take it to battle.

Quote (dafrca @ 02 June 2006 (15:15)) | Now you just need to finish the army, then take it to battle. | Well, a friend of mine is working on Necrons as well, we might combine our armies to allow him to field 3000 points at the next EPIC Game Day at the Oakville Bunker in July.
