Just what I was thinking CC  So why don't we all send WmN are stuff and get him to paint them....it'll achieve 2 goals, we'll all have fantastically painted stuff AND it'll stop WmN from showing us all up with his own stuff

Really nice. How about a close up shot of the cyclone and the Lightning Claw Termines? And tips on how to make these would be nice.

What I love the most about WMs work is that his 6mm stuff looks better then my 15mm paint jobs.

Of course, that is also what makes them so much fun to see.

Unfortunately the only unpainted pic I could find was this one so no closeups, sorry ?:( ?At least it should be possible to see where the original miniature ends and the plasticard begins...

In short the Cyclone is just a rectangular piece of spure trimmed down to size with a small recess cut into the middle to seperate each missile pod. The actual missiles are just painted on (speaking of which: I just noticed that each pod is only supposed to carry 6 missiles while mine carry 9... Looks like a repaint...)
For the targetter just remove the tip of the barrels from the Storm Bolter and replace them with a single piece of plastic tube.

The lightning claws are somewhat more complicated: Trim down the powerglove slightly so you have a flat surface to work on. then add 3 small triangular pieces of plasticard for the claws. It takes a bit of fidelling to make sure they are just slightly set apart and at the same time completely parallel.
Next remove most of the storm bolter. this is much easier on plastic termies than the new metal ones. Don't remove everything as you'll want some of it to look like the terminator's body. then cut a small piece of plasticard to roughly the same shape and size of the power glove. You can then add this piece at an angle for a slightly more interesting pose. Once glued in place repeat the procedure for adding the claws.

The thunderhammer and storm shields are both from old Chaos Beastmen.

The Flamer is from a squat trike.

The Assault cannon is from the old plastic dreadnought.

The rest are just minis from the character pack, some of which has had their back banners removed.

I personally still stand in awe of *anyone* who can convert 6mm infantry...

And the job you do on them WMN is just plain astounding.
