Hello,
So this week has been an iteresting one. Spent a good part of Monday and Tuesday locked in a large conferance room with people doing presentations as part of a conferance call. My roll in the meeting you ask? Why just the token orporate presents.
That is right, no real part. Kust a face to give the others a little mussle from the home office. I was so bored by the third pass of the same Power Point. Oh my, you have no idea how bad I wanted to just fall asleep.
Hope these last couple of days are better.

Good luck Dafrca - I had a 5 hour faculty board meeting last week, and an ad hoc addition to the same this week - two more hours, none of which were particularly relevant to me! Aaargh. No wonder I find time to come up with all sorts of weird conversion ideas...

I feel your pain Dafcra. The worst days are those that start and end in meetings.
You just feel drained with no feeling of accomlishment...yuck

Received an Order from a company called Force XXI. It took only a couple of days. The items were packed well and the quality was better then seemed on their website.

Will have photos once I get them done.

what do they make? | Sorry, should have said. They make 15mm SciFi. I bought a couple of VTOL gunships and a platoon of GEV transport trucks.
Force XXI also makes other things for the modern and scifi setting. They have a line of 6mm, 20mm, and space ships as well.
Check them out.

Hi Dafrca,
*** Have you seen their 6mm line in the flesh? ***
It's been pretty universally deplored and I'm wondering what your opinion is on it.
Shabbat Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

His stuff is a lot like the early Bregade. He is still learning to use smooth lines etc. But his "sculpting" methods do seem to work better with the larger vehicles.
Truth is, there are better lines of 6mm out there though. So if you want detail, I would get Bregade or the new stuff from DRM myself.

Put together my VTOL Gunships today. Man this will be a mess of vehicles to get painted when I have my next "project day".
On another front, my wife and I are able to discuss "the problem" now. No changes, but at least we are past the first stage of refusal to admit we have a problem.
In any case, today was a good day.

Sunday afternoon, it was time for the two year old to have his nap. He got his bottle and walked over to me. He handed me the bottle and told me to "go to sleep papa".
So I did, we had a two hour nap together.
I think the kids are the hardest thing I have ever done, but the most rewarding.
