But he is having problems accessing the internet :(

He may as well have just said "I will refuse to answer if you ask whether this is an Epic or 40k model"!

Funny, 'cause I just asked him that question not but a few minutes ago.  Now I wait with bated breath...

Yep, he ignored my questions and request for a photo to see what shape the mini was in. Not that I am shocked. :/

Guys like this make eBay a real pain because then people trust no one thanks to these Jackholes.

Hey there,

I've been keeping track of Terrence Stephens for a while... he does this about once a month.

The group of people interfering with his previous auctions that he mentions?

Well they were led by me.  :;):

Unfortunately, since he changed his feedback/seller status to private, we can no longer warn the bidders when they start bidding 126 pounds for an epic scale Orca (Yes that is one of Terrence's past sales).

So yeah, he's evil.

Oh yeah, his internet access has been 'sketchi' for six months now.

So how do we stop him?

Is there some way to force eBay to stop him?

The sad part is that he is not just screwing over Epic players, in fact it is the ignorant newbie 40k players he is targeting. Or their parents in some cases.

One of the people I spoke to (emailed) was the father of a 14 year old. He knew his son was a bidder, but did not think it was an issue until I sent him links etc. Then he was not happy.

The newbie 40k player may or may not even know there is/was such a thing as Epic.

Just thought of something, has anyone sent an email to GW/Forgeworld and drew their attention to what he is doing and to the fact it may impact how a young person feels about their game. You know, they are so upset, they move on to War machine etc.

Do not know if they can do anything, but they might.

What do you guys think?

He needs to make the P&P like that to prevent the scam backfiring.  He?s not daft, just an A grade git.

Maybe you could try listing ?Imperial Basilisk terencestephens is a scam artist? and put a bad sketch of an Imperial Basilisk up for sale with the description ?this is a bad sketch of an Imperial Basilisk that you don?t want to buy, just like you don?t want to buy anything from terencestephens because he is a scam artist?.  Then anyone looking for an Imperial Basilisk might see it.

Possibly against the rules but it?s not libel seeing as it?s true.

But, sad to say, it is against the rules to post auctions that are not real auctions. They take them down right away once reported.

Sort of like the guy selling NZ last month.

I noticed that someone has added a guide warning people about scams like this.  At the same time as someone else is doing the same... ???

I agree with Dafrca, perhaps an e-mail to FW/GW and to eBay is in order - from all their points of view it's bad: GW 'cause it puts people off their products, eBay 'cause it gives them a bad reputation.
