Well Primarch, I dont think Doug has any plans to STOP proucing minis, certainly not in the next few years - if you want to see them all before you buy, you may well be waiting a VERY long time - DRM ain't fading out new releases any time soon :D

Hi!

Let me rephrase that...

..until the current initial release schedule is done....  :;):

Does that mean that the DRM line of models might have minatures specifically designed for the NetEpic system?? (Or at least a very good fit for the descriptions of certain vehicles within the NetEpic system?)

Alternately will the description of the vehicles change to meet the new ones from DRM??

Am I being to wishful and reading far to much between the lines?!  :D

Hi Enderel,
'fraid not, I'd say, again because of legal issues: if Netepic describes GW units and races, DRM couldn't make models for these.
But there's nothing which says they cannot be used as proxies if the DRM models could be related to Netepic units: if someone wants to play the Slann, and thinks that Kraytonians are similar in appearance, there's no reason why they shouldn't be used as such - same way as I will some day use GW Bretonnians as historical 100 Years War troops - and possibly vice versa to, although obviously not in torunaments.

Hi!

Vanvlak is correct in his statements. So DRM will make their own minis that wont copy GW stuff.

However, some of their current and future products will be close enough to proxy quite readily.

Once the current line is fleshed out I'll post what I mean to be used for what.

I'd love to see DRM do some bugs, some Zoat-type creatures, and some skeletal robots which could be used for Necrons.

And speaking of Slann (which I wasn't), does anyone else find this slightly disturbing?

I won't comment about the former two, but do the Andrayada work as the latter?

Clemson university is there (Clemson, South Carolina) and the paw print is a symbol of the school. ?I guess the realtors...um...Slann are big Clemson fans. ?Who knew.

Yeah, as rough proxies, but they're a little chunky, and have those ginormous shoulder pads.  I prefer my Necrons svelte rather than voluptuous.
