Your first post ws fine, wish I had answers or information to give, I do not. However, if there is any to give this crowd will have it. Some of these guys have forgotten more about the 40k background etc then I will ever know.
In any case, welcome!

I think they really are part of the AM... Ah yes, here, I found the little scrap of info I was looking for. In the original Rogue Trader -era Warhammer Siege, which included rules for 40k sieges as well. Page 110: "By far the greatest body of siege dreadnoughts belongs to the Ordo Reductor -a specialised unit attached to the Adeptus Mechanicus and based on the mechanicus' fatory-planet of Mars. It is not attached to the Imperial Army (nowadays Imperial Guard) because of the sophisticated naturre of the equipment, and the need for constant maintenance and repair.
When its services are required, units of the Reductor Ordo travel out to siege planets bringinng with them a whole train of siege dreadnoughts as well as othher specialist and experimental siege machinery. The Adeptus Mechanicus canproudly boast that no planet has ever withhstood their siege unit -althoughh some have suffered complete destruction at the attempt."
It lists some equipment for the siege dreads but I'm too lazy to type that up. If you want that, contact me privately via PM.
I think I can hear Vanvlak drooling already.

Some sources have erroneously referred to them as a Demi-Legio titan legion, but that's about all I know that hasn't been cited already.

Welcome to the forum, Assassin. Looks like you've already made a good impression on Van.
Mojarn, I'd like a copy of that info too, if it isn't too much to ask.

Ok, I'll try to get that typed up on Monday. But please note that, like I said, it's just some siege equipment for dreads. It's not an armylist.
