[Actually Dafrca it's Russian Cyrillic.

The first character that looks like the backwards R would be pronounced "yah" and the second one that looks like an h is pronounced along the lines of an English "n"... while my pronounciation is probably truly horrible I'd pronounce it something along the lines of "yawn" except with a soft a sound.

Haven't got a freaking clue what it means though... I would assume it *might* supposed to be a unit designation or something though.

Wondered about that.  :D

And thus dafrca learns something new today!

Well, resisting this will be easy for me. :(

There's a new Mecha ruleset in the works from MJ12 Games (makers of Starmada and Defiance).  Go to their forums and scroll down to "Wardogs" and you can look over the playtest rules.

Mmmmm.... So far I really like the feel/look of the game. :)

I'll wait to see what the rule set looks like for potential game play but I certain I'm still going to end up buying power suits for SGII use...

Hi!

Like Dafrca, I'll resist. I'm not much for 28mm skirmish. But the game does look good.

I still like the look of the figs for this one... even if I never play i think I'm going to end up grabbing some of the larger suits "just because"...

And if that isn't the sign of an addict I don't know what is. :D

And now that I've taken an actual look at the text on the promo poster it would seem to imply that the cyber-beasties have some sort of hive mind thing going for them... at least based of the use of "I" anyways...

Interstellar Russians and Skynet... interesting...

Now that sounds interesting enough.....

But I could play that now in 15mm.  :p

Nice looking piece, but since it's pre-painted I'd never be interested.

LOL

Considering it would take a grand total of 30 minutes with Simple Green to strip I can't see the prepainted "issue" being an issue personally.

And IMNSHO the sculpts for these are light years ahead of the crap that GW is continuing to pump out... Vostroyans anyone?

I'm afraid I've got shiny stuff syndrome as far as this game is concerned, and have asked for it for Christmas...

I guess the fact it's pre-painted has put many people off, but it sold it to me to be honest... (casts a glance of boxes and boxes of un-painted Epic, 40k, Fantasy & BFG stuff) :;): ?:D

EDIT:  Just looked at that beastie... wow! :O I'm very glad I've decided to get this game now!
