Orange & Brown - would look like our local Pro Football team - the Cleveland Browns ! ?But if I had to go non-tac, TRC's idea of WWI French (blue tunics & red trou !) ... ? :;):

Do them white and blue - then you can use them as proxies for the NetEPIC Smurf army list :D.

Well, you all saw my Squats ... tactical colors, some camo ... and my troops are in a rust brown ... not orange, or red, etc. ...

I would like to kindly point out, good Sir, that Her Majesty's loyal Redcoats on Mars are indeed in an appropriately 'tactical' colour!

Another Gin? :;):

Oh yeah, I forgot those are the Browns' colors!  :D  That might be a good reason to avoid that scheme, not because I hate the Browns, but because they've already been used.

Blue tunics and red pants might look sharp. I'll give that strong consideration.

Thank you Tas ... but rust brown is not orange, Sir ... another canopy ? :;): ? Yes, I am against Pro Football colors ... However, Squats with Azure Blue Helms, Horizen Blue Tunics and dark brick red Trou ... do hold a certain appeal ... ("Viva La France!") ?Smurfs  ?!?! ???  :alien:

I have a foot in each camp here.  I like the bulk of my normal troops to be in tactical colours, but the odd colour splash doesnt hurt.  After all, I WANT my commanders to stand out.  And Pilots DO paint their planes garish colours (well they used to anyway)

I once painted up a SM scout detachment in super-realistic cam, including foliage on their vehicles etc.  First game, I totally lost them in a forest for 3 turns then realised they were still in their start position.  I ended up adding bright yellow flags to the vehicles! :p

I don't about red coats. Being a Yank, I might have the irresistable urge to shoot them. :D

With or without french assistance? :)

Camo Scouts ... Tas ... are there any other types ?! ??? :;): ?As you have ?seen, most of my Epic is in tactical/camo colors ... However, I thought about painting one of my F/W T-bolt in dark red with maltese crosses ... or has that been done ? ???? ?IIRC, I saw that in one of the F/W Armour books ? ?And the WWI French uniforms are kind of interesting. ?However unlike some of you (names go unmentioned, but you know who you are !), I like dark and drab ! ? ?
