Quote (stugmeister @ 31 Mar. 2006 (10:22)) | Sounds like some good colour schemes there Enderel. It might be worth trying to use one colour that will tie them all together as an army; keep the seperate clan colours but maybe use another colour as an 'army' colour? | All of the units have silver and gold on them so I'll have to see what they come out looking like.
If it's to disparate, then it might be an idea to find a muted colour to bind them together for the sake of army togetherness!

Great ideas, especially Enderel and Mojarn. Thanks! As I said, I definitely won't be painting them camo. I'll probably end doing one of the schemes from SM2, but I'm still willing to consider others

Old one, actually. The first time I mentioned said broterhood the comment gave birth to Chief Engineer "Grumpy" Van Vlak.
You're starting to repeat yourself, magos. A bad ememory sector in the machine spirit perhaps?

Getting back on topic...
Does anyone (besides L4 - I know your opinion and I mean that in a good way ) think that an orange/brown scheme would look bad? I would like to do something different, but I do like the schemes in Warlords.

Umm orange and brown wouldn't really look all that good I'd have thought, maybe a bit to close colour wise to make out any contrasts. I'd suggest testing it on a gyro first off to see what it looks like. (I tend to do that and as such have a multi coloured one at the moment!)
You could try some of the older style military uniforms as mentioned above. Nice English red coats?
How about black with white, silver or gold? I might see what that looks like myself!
or look at WHFB dwarf's and copy them?

Trying it on a gyro first, not a bad idea.
I don't about red coats. Being a Yank, I might have the irresistable urge to shoot them. I do like the idea of getting inspiration from old uniforms.
