Open by HRH last night in Melbourne, the Commonwealth games have begun!
Good luck to all those from fellow Commonwealth Countries out there -UK, Canada, NZ, Malta...pls excuse any others here Ive forgotten
We'll see who has the most gold in 11 days 
And if you dont know what I'm talking about you arent in "the family", or maybe you once were but you were flthy damned rebels and got 'uninvited'  (yes, I'm joking...)

I might be one of those "filthy damned rebels", but I do know what you're talking about.  Good luck to all participants!

Boy, you should hear the furore over here, heads are gonna roll.
The strangest thing is 2 medals are probably about right for such a tiny place but previously more medals were gained, mostly in shooting (darned Malta) and boxing.
