Who packages these stuff there anyway?


In the words of one GW insider, "guys straight off the banana boat."

Arthur, the guy I've talked about who was GW's #3 mail order customer one year, was asked for suggestions by GW's marketing people.  When he asked, their response was more or less that the difference in wages to get good order pickers would be more than they spend on replacement parts and shipping.

I don't know if it's true, but that's their story and they're obviously sticking to it. :D

It wouldn't surprise me if that were the truth. Heck, Ford did the same thing with the Pinto. They decided it was cheaper to pay millions of dollars in lawsuits for deaths caused by exploding gas takes than to spend the money to fix the problem.

Yes, my buddy that used to work for G/W US and my other buddy who went to G-Day US a number of times ... basically said, these "Humies" are right off the streets, only with the abilities to read and match colors, it appeared ! :oops: ?Low paying, when in Baltimore, most appeared to be intercity "Hivers" ! ?Otherwise clueless !! :oops: ? I can only imagine what they are like in Memphis now ... ? ???? ?That region has most of all the untouched ACW battlefields ... because nothing has changed much there since then !    :o0  :8:

Get ready for five sprues of Exarchs and one sprues of normal Shining Spears! I got that, called, got anohter pack exactly the same and GW pretty much refused to sort it out. I would have followed it up, except that they would probably have taken back both packs.  :/

G/W US just e-mailed me and said, they don't know when F/Orks will be avail. for pre-order ... ??? ?No surprise there ... :(  :down:  :/

I see no reason to doubt that.  I've had screwed up orders, but they send the missing stuff out without fuss.  No one dies if a box of marines is missing.
