An old topic with maybe some new insite. As it affects all lists, I put it in the general discussion area:

So I would conclude from those responses that there is no such thing as aircraft sniping which was one of the big deals about having 45 cm range on the AX-1-0.

Does anyone else get that impression?

What a relief! :p  And I thought I was playing it wrong when stopping in front of a formation. Sniping was never an issue , as I think that a strafing run is too short of preparation and too fast to pick any special targets. Same goes to Bombers in a similar manner, they fly usually higher than a fighter on a strafing run when bombing thus also can?t find a specific target. Except for Barrages, which may cover the intended target nonetheless.

Cheers!

Yes, I noticed that a bit late. Why can?t we keep it KISS? No intermingling of aircraft with any Formation and full stop? So we can keep all rulings in line. BTW: Are you allowed to intermingle any other formations cheek to ?cheek? I mean One model standing side by side of another one, both of different formations?

Yes the ability is unfortuently very still alive, unless you wish to change how you target regular lines of troops and the like :)

See my latest post - I wish the ERC would take a look. I think my 4 ideas would go great lengths to fixing the current issues with aircraft in E:A.

Cheers,
