This was the second game I got in against my friend BloodNGuts; he fielded Titan Legions with me using the Bugs.
I haven't used a lot of bio-war engines in my previous games and I wanted to try them out en masse.

I thought Reavers could not have legates in V2.

Reviewing the game log, it wasn't used at all in this game, so it was "wasted" points for AMTL in that sense.

Setup
4'x4' Table
Garrisons and Objectives
Tyranids kept two Lesser Nodes off board.
AMTL garrisoned one Recon Cohort far ahead Objective 2, one each on the flanks of each forward objective and one in front of the Blitzkrieg
Tyranids placed no garrisons.
Deployment

Dominatrix -2 Hierodules -7 Gargoyles
Hive Tyrant - 5 Hormagaunts - 4 Raveners - 10 Termagants - 3 Zoanthropes
Tyranid Warriors - 7 Hormogaunts - 5 Raveners - 5 Termagants

Turn 1
No teleports.
Strategy Roll: AMTL - allows Tyranids to go first.
The Hydraphant scrambles forward, advancing on Recon Alpha, its Warp Blast frying one of the Sentinels.
Recon Beta advances to fire its lascannons at the Hydraphant which merely roars at the ineffective blasts.
The Tyranid Warrior Swarm marches far up the flank.
Recon Alpha performs a rearward advance, trying to get away from the approaching horrors and fires to no effect on the Hydraphant.
The Dominatrix marches her heavy brood forward into the ruins near Tyranid Objective 2.
Recon Gamma, unbolstered by the near the three Titans fails to advance and just quietly regroups.
The Hive Tyrant marches its swarm up the flank as well.
Recon Delta advances on the Hive Tyrant and scores some remarkable hits killing two Zoanthropes!
The Hierophant doubles on Recon Delta and blows one Sentinel away with a gout of Bio-plasma.
Longus Flamma sustains fire, firing indirectly at the Dominatrix and her brood, crisping all the Gargoyles and doing 1DC damage to a Hierodule.
Dominus Fulmen advances on the Hierophant. Despite the protection of the nearby hill, the Titan scores many hits on the massive monster, but its hide deflects them all.
Baceolus Flagrari follows up by doubling to get near the Dominatrix, but its Melta Cannons only char the ruins that house the broodmother and her spawn.
Rallies
All the AMTL units rally and the Hierodule regenerates its lost DC.

Turn 2
No teleports.
Strategy Roll: AMTL
Baceolus Flagrari sustains fire on the Dominatrix, but her Hierodule bodyguards both pay the ultimate price to save their queen from any damage.
Dominus Fulmen stands its ground and sustains fire on the Hierophant, blasting 2DC from the war beast.
Squealing with rage, the Dominatrix engages Baceolus Flagrari, barely scratches the Titan (-1DC), takes some serious wounds (-3DC), and just barely pushes the enemy Titan back.
The Tyranid Warriors race their brood forward to engage the co-mingled Recon Alpha and Beta, wiping them both out at the cost of a single Hormagaunt.
Longus Flamma sustains fire on the raging Dominatrix doing 2DC damage and a critical which does another point of damage.
The Hydraphant doubles up to blast Recon Gamma and Longus Flamma destroying two Sentinals.
The Hive Tyrant engages Recon Delta, losing a Hormagaunt and a Ravener, while only knocking down a single Sentinel. ?The brave walker pilots hesitate and then flee, leaving another machine behind. ?(Despite all the advantages, 'Nids win the assault by "1".)
The Hierophant engages Dominus Fulmen in a firefight, but neither of the war engines scores any hits on their opponent, but the pressure of the Tyranids pushes the Titan back. (AMTL rolled "snake-eyes" for resolution!)
Rallies
All the AMTL units except Recon Gamma rally and the Dominatrix regenerates 1 lost DC.

Turn 3
Tyranid teleports one Lesser Synapse Node on each of the two ATML forward Objectives.
Strategy Roll: Tyranids.
The Hydraphant hesitates? and then rages forward to engage the co-mingled Baceolus Flagrari and Longus Flamma, getting into close-combat with the Melta Cannon toting Titan. ?The clash of flesh on metal echoes across the battlefield, the Bio-titan takes 2DC damage and inflicts 4DC and a critical on Baceolus Flagrari, breaking both of the Reavers. ?The victorious Bio-Titan moves towards the Blitzkrieg.
Seeking revenge Dominus Fulmen advances on the Dominatrix and the mass volley of fire blasts the broodmother into unmoving chunks.
The Hierophant skitters forward to engage Dominus Fulmen? and loses! ?The Reaver suffers only 1DC damage while the Hierophant takes 2DC and a critical. ?The bio-titan moves towards the Blitz as well.
Despite some suppression, Recon Delta sustains fire on the Hierophant to no effect.
The Hive Tyrant doubles its brood forward firing on Recon Delta and breaking the light walkers.
The Tyranid Warriors march up swarming over AMTL Objective 2.
Both Lesser Nodes just burble and respawn more horrors to cement their hold over the objectives?
In a pulse of white light, Baceolus Flagrari goes super-critical and explodes?
End of Turn: AMTL 1 (BTS) vs Tyranids 3 (Blitzkrieg, Take and Hold, They Shall Not Pass)
