Got in two 2700 point games this afternoon/evening against my friend BloodNGuts and I was able to do playtest logs for both of them.

This is the first one, vs Black Legion.  I wanted to try out some of the war engines Chaos can bring to the table and why not face off against the Imperium's heavy hitters?

Black Legion kept the Chosen offboard

Black Legion deployed their Retinue in the ruins near Chaos Objective 1.

AMTL deployed all their Recon Cohorts well forward in various ruins on either flank.

Turn 1

Black Legion teleports the Chosen beside Baceolus Flagrari who pick up one blast marker on arrival.

Strategy Roll: Black Legion

With a shriek of triumph, the Damned charge Baceolus Flagrari, all of them able to reach the base of the Titan. ?The Daemon Prince does 2 DC damage? while the rest of the unholy warriors do nothing? the shriek turns to a scream as the Daemon Prince, the Obliterators, and one stand of Chosen are all that is left. ?They flee, trying to take cover in the ruins.

Baceolus Flagrari advances and turns on its nearby attackers, roasting the last Chosen and the Obliterators, but the Daemon Prince is protected by the fickle hand of Fate and survives.

The Hellhunters sustain fire on Recon Beta and knock three of the Sentinels into heaps of scrap; the lone survivor flees towards the AMTL table edge.

Retaining, Deathstrider advances on Recon Delta and obliterates two more walkers, sending them packing as well.

Recon Gamma hesitantly advances on Deathstrider, losing one of their members to an undetected basement in the ruins, and then strips both Void Shields from the Chaos Titan.

The Tormentrix doubles up to Recon Gama and the hellmouth consumes two Sentinals, breaking the unit.

Seeing the rapidly fleeing Sentinels, Longus Flamma doubles forward to stem the retreat, burning away a the lead Chaos Marine unit of the Hellhunters.

Sinspawn advances on Longus Flamma and strips away three Void Shields in a flurry of fire.

Recon Alpha doubles on Sinspawn, sticking to the protective ruins, and drops the two Void Shields protecting the corrupted war machine.

Rolling Thunder doubles forward to bring its guns to bear on Longus Flamma to no effect.

The Legate doubles Dominus Fulmen forward, levelling its guns on the Deathwheel. ?The hail of fire strips away all the target's void shields and also does 1DC of damage.

The Doomhammers double forward, enabling them to catch both Dominus Fulmen and Longus Flamma in the blasts of their mighty guns? to no effect?

Rallies

All units except Dominus Fulmen Beta Recon rally, with the Sentinel fleeing deep into Chaos territory...

Turn 2

No teleports.

Strategy Roll: Black Legion (We both rolled "1"? *laugh*)

Rolling Thunder advances closer to Longus Flamma, but its wobbling approach makes its shots go wild.

With the support of the nearby Deathwheel, the Hellhunters engage Longus Flamma in a vicious fight.  One Chaos Marine is crushed underfoot and the Titan takes 1DC damage, but it is barely enough to push the Imperial war engine back and Chaos is victorious.

Dominus Fulmen turns and advances on Rolling Thunder, blasting huge holes in it and doing 2DC of damage, which breaks the bizarre machine, and it rolls deeper into AMTL territory!

Sinspawn advances on Alpha Recon and scraps two more Sentinels, sending the remaining machines running for cover.

The remnants of Recon Delta advance on the Daemon Prince survivor of the Chosen and break him with their flashes of lascannon fire.

Baceolus Flagrari advances on the wobbling Deathwheel and melts it into a puddle of slag.

The Doomhammers double forward and blast Dominus Fulmen, but are only able to strip away two Void Shields and lay on many blast markers?

Recon Gamma advances on Sinspawn, but fires to no effect.

Tormentrix doubles forward to fire on Dominus Fulmen, stripping away the remaining two Void shields.

Deathstrider doubles as well, firing wildy at Dominus Fulmen, scoring no hits, but breaking their nerve and causing them to flee back to the ruins on the AMTL table edge.

Rallies

All units except the broken Recon Cohorts rally?

The Doomhammers double over the hill and are able to blast Dominus Fulmen, Longus Flamma, and the fragments of Recon Alpha? the lone Sentinel doesn't survive the onslaught.

Deathstrider sustains fire on Baceolus Flagrari, dropping 3 Void Shields.

No longer willing to suffer the nearby fools, Baceolus Flagrari hesitantly advances on the Doomhammers and then lives up to its name as it burns away all three of the Chaos war engines!

Longus Flamma attempts to sustain fire on some of the Feral Titans, but fails, regrouping itself, removing 4 Blast Markers and raising 3 Void Shields.

The Hellhunters double to fire on Recon Gamma, destroying the Recon Cohort.

The Tormentrix does the same against Recon Delta, wiping them out.

Dominus Fulmen marshals, firing on Deathstrider and blasting two Void Shields, while removing 4 Blast Markers and restoring a Void Shield.

The sole survivor of the Damned marches back to protect Chaos Objective 2.

Sinspawn advances on Baceolus Flagrari and eliminates a single Void Shield.

End of Turn: AMTL 1 (BTS) vs Black Legion 1 (They Shall Not Pass)

Rallies

All surviving units rally?

Strategy Roll: AMTL

Longus Flamma powers up the pumps on its Inferno Cannons and sustains fire on the nearby Hellhunters and Sinspawn, dropping two Void Shields from the Chaos Titan and roasting a single Chaos Marine.

Baceolus Flagrari follows up by engaging the co-mingled Hellhunters and Sinspawn. ?When the heatwaves finally dissipate, the Reaver Titan has lost its Void Shields and taken a single DC of damage? all that remains of the Chaos forces is a single Obliterator unit and a wobbling Feral Titan with 1DC left? Baceolus Flagrari is easily victorious!

Deathstrider doubles back to fire on the remaining Sentinels of Recon Beta that are tormenting the Chaos lines and wipes them out.

Dominus Fulmen advances on Tormentrix, guns blazing and, in a flash of metal and sparks, the Feral Titan is completely torn apart? a strange silence descends upon the battlefield?

The Daemon Prince of the Chosen quickly marches forward into enemy territory, but it is merely a token gesture?

End of Turn: AMTL ?2 (BTS, Defend the Flags) vs Black Legion 1 (They Shall Not Pass)
