Ok, been busy at my work area, trying to get ready for a game against Saim Hann Eldar.
Tomb Complex
This piece is a collection of this and that, mostly shapes that look "right". The tall pylons are pencil lead containers for mechanical pencils. Also, I wanted the structure to look like it was "in transition". I'm not sure I accomplished that.
Pylons
These are more of the pencil lead containers, co-opted into either a huge set of speakers for a heavy metal concert starring Necrodermis, or Necron Pylons. Again, I was attempting to make the structure look like it was in transition.
After I get some time to put together what other people might call pylons, I'll let these become objective markers.
Tomb Spyders
These are scratch built from sheet plastic.
Batch 1, looks a lot like some of the "John Blanche" sketches in the Necron Codex, but were a real pain to put together.
Batch 2 came about as my annoyance quotient started creeping up and after I decided to add a little more animation to the TS and have them look more like they were stalking vs. floating around looking like a metal tick. I like the Batch 2 better and should I need to make more for some other units, won't feel the need to go into catatonic shock over the efforts.
Batch 2a
Batch 2b
What's funny is in the time that it took to build the first one, I was able to build the next two. In the time it took to build the first three, I was able to build the next six.
Let's hear it for process improvement. ?
Enjoy!

Very nice work, honda. I think the pylons came out looking good.

These Tomb Spyders look great ! You really get a "spidery" feel looking at them.
