Very nice, centurion.
Include me in the "likes Ork clans" group. I think if gives the Orks some variety.

I have been working on an Ork BoarBoy.
He's going to have a spear, thus the Shoota needed to be on his back and I decided to model a strap using green stuff.

Quote (Heresiarch @ 10 Feb. 2006 (22:35)) | Quote (nealhunt @ 10 Feb. 2006 (09:50)) | Bad Moons are greedy, rich, and flashy, so they hang out with other greedy/flashy/rich orks, i.e. other Bad Moons. |
I just had the horrible vision of the Ork Equivilant of a Chav pop into my head...
I guess it would however bring new meaning to the term "squat party"
Oh... and for those unfamiliar with the term "Chav":
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chav | Yeah, that's pretty much exactly what I had in mind.

I too am one for the clanz, in the same sense as Neal, those that like going fast join the Sunz, those that prefer gunz join the Moonz etc
So, as to what I'm (continuing) to do, more orks, this time some Goffs...

Hello again, people. Was kinda offline for a while. Various reasons.
But I'm back on the track, though I didn't sleep in last (quick calculation) 27 hours (just a bad case of insomnia).
My DOS-machine is nearly complete, and I'll be definitely getting the last bits for it on Sunday (not to mention some for two more classic machines).
Did little in regards to painting (just a couple basecoats, really), but will set to that with turbo-speed as soon as I get some normal sleep.
Did a LOT in regards to modelling. Raziel is nearly complete - with several things re-done a little. Some detailing on the jump-pack will be all that's needed. Working on a new backpack and helmet for the 2nd Raven Knight. The ones I put on him before didn't mesh with the rest. Head is going to be a "teked out" piece from Brettonian Knights box (just the side comms from a normal Marine helmet make all the difference in the looks). Working on the BattleMaster conversion as well (OK, it's not a conversion in the normal sense, really) Finished one of my Eldar Guardians, working on the other one. Started a Dark Eldar conversion inspired by the artwork in 3rd edition rulebook. The one on the very beginning of DE army list. Torso wasn't hard, neither were the arms. Now, the helmet... already broken one, hope the second won't suffer the same fate, cause that's a lot of cutting and filing. Inquisitor Stramm is progressing slowly, I just managed to break off her hand - third time over, and this time it scattered so that I'll just have to dig up another in my bitz box. The two SoB conversions are nearly done by now. Just a little extra details and they'll be ready to paint.
Made a deal for 58 2nd edition Space Marine backpacks (though not perfect as a whole piece, the cablings and the bottom half are totally ace). Bought a Wraithlord. Wonder when I will actually paint the thing...
Some minor progress in the Secret Project department. I think I'll have to disclose to you what it actually is - and that sums up in a single word. Ready? Purgatori.
For other stuff...
Still cannot get a net connection at home. I give up.
Two days ago I noticed it's going to be the second anniversary of my site's existence and for quite a while it's been seriously neglected. Well, it's quite obvious what I should do, right? Expect a lot of models to be posted at that time - when I'll get my sleep, next thing after painting will be preparing a massive update, first to gallery and then to other portions of the so-called "site".

I have been working on my Ork Looted Rhino.
The full set of pictures is (will be) on the Jimbo Workbench feature of my website.
Ork Looted Rhino Webpage
This is one of the latest pictures (and is not even on the website). I have painted the interior an armoured vehicle interior green, painted the various items black and drybrushed with Tin Bitz and Boltgun Metal. I have added details to the control panel. I still need to paint the other things inside and tidy it back up where the black paint covered the original green and then re-dirty it up Orky style...

Took some time to work on the Raven Knights' bike, and am quite pleased with how some things turned out. I tried out making a wash out of heavily thinned black paint and washing-up liquid - the results on metallics are incomparable to GW's normal Black Ink, and by that I mean they are quite pleasing.
Further work on the Elf-Harpy. I'm getting somwhere, with most of the flesh painted. The transitions between normal and reptilian flesh are quite annoying, though - since I couldn't blend to save my life, I have to specially mix each of the transition stages. And then the same for two stages of highlights...
