I am playing Saim-Hann, but I think this applies to all the Eldar lists (my stupidity is universal): are you required to buy all of the same Aspect type in an Aspect Troupe or Host?
For example, the Aspect Troupe for the Saim-Hann is four units. Could I, for example, buy two units of Striking Scorpions and two of Howling Banshees?
I realize that some combinations might not make sense (probably Warp Spiders and anything else), but some do. Also, the Eldar War Host sold by GW only gives you two stands of Warps, Howlings, Scorpions, and Reapers, so you would have to buy two $20 boxes to get four of each type. (Then you have to buy ANOTHER set to get the Fire Dragons and Guardians, but that is another story.)

Yes, you can mix the aspect warrior units in an aspect warrior formation (troope or host).
Can't help on the cost though

Of course you can always mix and max fire dragons and dire avengers. They come as a separate by like shining spears.

The ability to mix the Aspect Warriors is one of those puzzles that makes the Eldar list so interesting. Coming up with interesting combinations (Dark Reapers and Fire Dragons, check out the firefight values) is rewarding (maybe I have too much spare time!).
