Yeah, I'd love to see these ideas becoming a reality. Being Marines, I daresay they'd sell pretty well too...
Didn't we see a Baal Pred master model on the SG site, or at Gamesday a year or so ago?

Agreed, it would be nice to see FW produce those variants.

You could actually convert a LR Helios pretty easily, since it has Lascannons in the sides and a Whirlwind launcher on the top. You have extra WW turrets from the WW/Hunter blisters, just GS over the hole where the HB turret was.
Everything else needs some new parts.

Any plans to do an Armageddon fleet are on back burner until FW produce some Voss prow ships.
Cheers

You can only try, I had thought along the idea of seeing if it was possible to commission a limited number of pieces for my own use. however I thought that people might want to get into the act. Even if they are limited like the multi part marines it would be a popular item.

does anyone have pics of thes emulti-part marines i have been hearing so much about?
I think what i would like to see first with marines is some heavy wepaon variants for devastators
even they don;t make new rules - just to look a bit more interesting.
And scouts with sniper rifles - sweet!

They havent released epic in a while though. | Just to be the post-Christmas grinch here... he's my personal speculation on the "state" of Forge World.
I have a sneaking suspicion that your going to see Forge World in 2006 concentrating more on support for the core 40k and WFB lines than on the Specialist Games ranges. If GW is adjusting the release schedule and support for SG ranges I can't see why they wouldn't do the same for FW as well.
If you look at Forge World's new releases from the last few months they've mostly been geared towards either high end items or mod packs for existing kits in 40K. I would expect that as a new WFB campaign season comes up you'll see support for that line take the place of releases for 40k.
I'm not holding my breath on new stuff any time soon in otherwords.
