RRRight! I didn't coment before so as to give time for some feedback to come in. I frankly wasn't surprised that the first option wouldn't be the most popular - nicely put, MC23: Some said they would never exist in that size (makes poor pretty weak raiding parties if they only had a 40K sized force raiding settlements IMO). | I actually expected more people to go with the 'clean' Eldar ?list asaption. As for models - I have no doubt that DE will never see light officially in Epic - although it would be nice. What could be done is: 1 - hope to find some other 6mm range which can be used as proxies, which would not be Raiders, Ravagers etc, but which would provide a suitable and Dark Eldritch and uniform army appearance - I wonder if twisting Dark Realm's boss' arm would work ( ? ? ) 2 - use 'counts as' models from a wide range of - uh - ranges.
As for my use of wheeled vehicles and Titans - don't get me wrong, I like the idea of a Comorragh defence or expeditionary force, which is highly specialised, panders to my tastes, but would not, as Maksim, CS, MC23 and practically everybody pointed out, clearly represent the DE. Don't worry, I don't expect anyone to conform to my own weird brand of ideas. My buggies are a special force unit, and the Titans - well,I always felt that Slaaneshi titans and Knights were too dissimilar to Human machines to be corrupt versions of them - so I''d say they could be Eldar - or, to suit my purpose, Dark Eldar. And the DE sliding towards Slaanesh is practically GW's Dark Elf Slaaneshi cults. The vehicles which could be used would (as L-4 commented elsewhere) Eldar X-vehicles (pity they're so rare!), the old eEldar Epic SM era range, a few Chaos types, perhaps. This all depends on the direction an army list would take. So - thatnks for the support - and watch out for a new DE poll!
MC23, I agree with all you said - thanks. And CS - palace of pain? Sounds good!
In Comorragh did CyberShade, A mighty pleasure dome decree....
