And a close-up view of an Epiccy region - also festuring Aeronef, BFG, Warmaster, the prominent 40K Hive node, and a small plastic bull of the seal of a bottle of Spanish wine...

Quote (Mojarn Piett @ 24 Dec. 2005 (20:33)) | Any fluff about the Karelian legion? ? | Not yet... The only thing I've settled on is the heraldry from the beer bottles and a Reaver called Gagarin. I'm thinking of painting the supporting tracked vehicles and Sentinels in red-black as well.
Fluff-wise, the Legion is supposed to fight on the side of the Revolution on Barbarossa II. However, to justify battles against the regular Barbarossan troops (commie-traitor SL IG), it may have had to change sides at one point or the other. Perhaps the legion was stationed on a nearby moon and was staffed by hereditary nobility, which was a big no-no with the revolution, but later on the commies would find the nobles and their Titans too useful to hate. Hmm...

Good heavens, Van! Now I don't feel so bad about my undone projects.

Hi
2005 sucked for me in terms of achieving any of my original 10 resolutions. This year I am going to keep it simple. Move job/move house/lose weight/paint more/game more.
Cheers
James

Oh great. Remember my resolutions? I hope not, and I'm not posting a link back to them. Because (1) CS comes up with the Gothicomp, and BFG didn't even feature on my immediate plans. It does now.
and
(2) Cleaning up the old Predator (40K scale)which had overflowed off my workbench to the wall unit beside it, and preparing it for de-Khornification and Re-Orkestration, I removed the torso, head and arms of an old 40K Chaos robot model. And I got this idea.... which means that the L&D and CSM might have an important role toplay in my 2006.
Ah well....
