Well... not sure if this is a terrain piece or an actual monster... yet.
Anyway... yet another new project... hopefully one I will finish.

Well... I'm taking yet another break from all this. Made some progress on this so check the page again.
I now have four standard squads of Termigaunts painted and thinking of doing some Gaunts with Devourers. Who knows.
I sorta in the process of converting my table in the study yet again... due to additional wife being here, she needs room here as she hogs up the PC. Anyway... getting off topic.
Hopefully I'll get the second layer painted and start on the third layer... although not sure how I want it to look yet.
Anyone got any ideas? I was thinking of a shell like creature... but like a bird sitting on a nest of eggs, it'll have a head and some spines and cannons to protect iteself, but it won't be able to move.

A shell (for protecting the eggs) sounds good. And as we are talking about 'nids there are the obligatory tentacles. Both for moving the eggs and lashing at intruders.

hmm... tentacles... not sure as there won't be eggs, they just bulbous bits.

Ah, I see I misunderstood your intent. I thought you were after some kind of Norn Queen type critter.
Well, the tentacles are good for ripping apart intruding meat things so IMO would still fit in just fine.
