Vash?ya Il?Fannor Lar?shi?qath?o
The Vash?ya Il?Fannor Lar?shi?qath?o, the first of the vessels to be truly space worthy in the years precluding the launch of the Lar?shi class cruiser, it was the true prototype ship for that class. It?s hull, painstakingly constructed, integrated many experimentally constructed systems as well as the incredibly efficient new gravitic drives, as well as being the first starship to power the new generators towards forming the curious side effect that would later become the first deflector, an effect quickly input onto the earlier Il?Porrui hulls.

Note: The Lar?shi?qath?o also has the Elite Command Crew and Disciplined Crew crew skills. In addition, Kor?el Lar?shi?qath?o always accompanies, thereby gifting it Ld8 and an additional fleet commander re-roll. He is not a fleet commander, and a further commander can be selected.
The Lar?shi?qath?o
El?Lar?shi?qath?o (Lit. Bringer of Ultimate Victory in Endeavour, or generically Successful Enterprise), or Kor?el Tau?n Lar?shi?qath?o was the Tau commander selected by the central Tau air caste command to command the new and pioneering experimental vessel that would become the Lar?shi?qath?o.
Whilst the Lar?shi?qath?o was only on it?s first mission out of space dock in orbit of Vash?ya Prime, the Sept came under attack from a combined Ork Raid. Unfortunately for the Orks, given the importance of the project within Vash?ya, there was significant fleet presence in the Sept compared to what the Orkoid marauders were expecting. On pursuit of the Ork raiders, the Lar?shi?qath?o, alongside the Bastion Class Commerce Vessel of the Thurm Brotherhood, the Kroot Wasphere Nck?Tlok?Cha, the Il?Fannor Vash?ya Mesme?Kais Malcador and a squadron of Nicassar Dhows, it led the force against the newly discovered ?Ork stronghold in the inner regions of nearby undeveloped star system. Though the Nck?Tlok?Cha suffered unprecedented damage, and the entire Nicassar contingent were lost in a protracted running battle with a rapidly retreating Ork Kroozer, the Bastion and the Lar?shi?qath?o were highly successful against the handful of Ork Roks in the system and the Mesme?Kais was capable of providing sufficient ranged power to deter an oncoming Kroozer. The handful of escorts were insufficient to maintain a successful defence against the Tau pursuit, and thus allowed the core formations free reign of the Ork defences.
In light of this rapid success, it was observed that the Lar?shi?qath?o?s systems performed incredibly well. Though missile supplies towards the end of the action proved distinctly worrying, all other systems including the advanced ion cannon arrays tested on the hull showed a distinct increase on projected performance levels. In all, the varied armament and armour of the Lar?shi?qath?o displayed discrete ability without assigned escort craft, relying solely on it?s own Manta Missile Destroyer and Barracuda Superiority Fighter squadrons to ensure its defence against enemy ordnance more than capably.
It should be noted that in later engagements, the Lar?shi?qath?o went on to prove it?s power against Ork and Human pirates on numerous occasions, capably suppressing insurgency within the domains of the D?yanoi Sept and facilitating the peaceful incorporation of the conglomerate world of Bansus into the sphere of the Tau?va, the Lar?shi?qath?o was firmly concreted into the near mythological exemplary emblems of the history of the Tau?va. Unfortunately, Kor?el Lar?shi?qath?o and much of his senior command crew were lost in the otherwise defeat of an assault of the Wolf Pack Fleet Dominionsmith?s strike against a convoy in the near reaches of the Vior?la Sept in the year before the launch of the first Lar?shi Class Starship. The Lar?shi?qath?o itself remained in service long into the aftermath of the Tau?va?s Third Phase Expansion, earning itself more illustrious victories under many Kor?el across its time. ?
Well, there's a little bit, whatcha think? Tau Variant, basically using the precedent that is seen in the Tau Variants thread to allow for decent power, and bearing in mind the ship itself is an intensely advanced vessel, one which is far more economically built in the form of the Lar'shi, building this in form of Il'Fannor is simply difficult and costly, but required in the interim between Il'Porrui and Il'Fannor and the advant of the Lar'shi.
