I have been making progress on my jet packed Ork Stormtroopers.

I am using the same process on these which I have used on my other Orks, however I am using shades of brown rather than grey.
The jump packs are being painted with different colours of brown with red nose cones. They have had a Chestnut Ink and Scorched Brown wash.

I have always thought that the rockets for these jump troops would make excellent extra large Pulsa Rokkits type weapons for Epic. Pity that they are quite pricey individually.

Thanks. And nice work Jimbo. I agree those would be cool Pulsa Rokkitz!
Nice work Jimbo and Warmaster - are those Squiggoth heads all standard, or are some modified (the big metal jawed-ones). Nice to see all that variety on the howdahs, too! |
Yup. the metal jaws are converted by Krooza. He also did the Hydra and harpoon howdahs.

Actually I was thinking that maybe those metal jaws would look cool on one of the gargantuan squiggoths as well....

Great looking minis Warmaster & Jimbo. It's a pleasure to see at least someone has the energy to do sum projikts.
***Jimbo, what ink to water ratio do you use in your washes?***

Very nice minis Jimbo and WmN. I've managed to paint up a couple more Aspects stands this weekend, hopefully the weather will improve enough to get a couple of snaps.
