I've been using the infestation counters and synapse node (?) from Battle for Macragge to represent Nodes.
The infestation counters are 2.5-3cm across while the larger one is around 5cm across. The look cool!

Hi,
I've built mine from 40k lictor rending claws, three together for SNG and a single one for SNL.
You waste about half the metal and are expensive, but look the part.
I've used the parts from "Battle for Macragge" for Objective markers as you can't get these sprues separately. You get three in the box
I'll put a couple of pictures on when I get the chance (and not reading the forum from work!)
Base wise - I've mounted the them on Warmaster bases a single base for a SNL and three together for a SNG.
Height wise - Mine stand about 3cm tall, the things from MaCragge are only about 1-1.5cm tall, but fatter.
Scott

Hi Guys,
I've used a variety of things for my Synpase Nodes:
- Large Infestation marker from Battle for Macragge set... - Small Infestation markers from Battle for Macragge set... - Spiky Oak balls (tree seed) cut in half mounted on washers... - 28mm 'Nid bitz made into SNs and mounted on fender washers... - Various "decoration" mushrooms mounted on fender washers... - A few other top secret "prototype" SNs...
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Ferrumvir -
Very nice!!
I've gone with the prevailing "HiveThink"? ? and am using the Battle for Macragge terrain models.
Here's a pict of one of my Greater Hive Nodes.
