Something (i.e. a tactic) that I've been try to work out in my head to test is using a formation like:

1 x Dragonfish + 1 Scorpionfish (I really don't like the name Narwhal), which then coordinate fire for another unit of Scorpionfish and possibly Robs Hammerhead formation (3 x RGHH, 2 x ICHH, 1 x Swordfish). These three formations are within 15cm of each other, deep in the backfield because they have the range to be. Also to keep them out of harms way.

The key is getting multiple Marker light units to designate so that the above formation can volley fire with decisive effect on a unit.

The plan would be to eliminate the opponent's heavy hitters, then as lower tier targets become threatening, the "Mega" formation will break up if necessary to deal with them.

However, the Dragonfish is still used to coordinate fire when necessary.

Currently, my markerlight units are 3 x Firewarrior cadres and 2 x Pathfinder contingents.

However, I am extremely interested in reading Jaldon's batrep.

The game is being played tonight, Bob set it up and picked J.D's Steel Legion as the first opponent to face the wrath of the Vorash'a Shasal'a

Should be a real good fight as I have heard a lot since I got home about J.D. and his Steel Curtain IG list, though I have never seen it or faced it before, so it should be real interesting

Gonna need a couple of days to write it up (And it will take an extra day if I lose so I can wallow in my grief ).

I still need to find a volunteer to post the maps for me, any takers?
