Well, how do you follow that?!?  :O

Err, well this is what I've been doing, continuing with my Inquisition Drop fortress, but doing some 40k Space Marines.

You can see my blog by following the link in the signature, but you can see some more detailed pics by going here.

Enjoy!  :)

Found this seminar report from this year's Gencon, a Q&A with JJ that sheds a little light on the current SG status above what we have seen on GW stuff.

Sorry for the thread jacking but this just about made me choke to death on my tea

Q: In a past discussion with some higher ups, I was told that Games Workshop doesn't have numbers runs, like ROIs and such.

A: In the past, no, but Games Workshop is starting to bring in outsiders to run the numbers and calculate ROIs, etc. As we get bigger, we start to bring in the experts. First we are just getting good information about what range of things sells, and studies will be happening.

*JUST* starting to calculate ROIs and such?

That has to be the largest pile of steaming faecel material I have ever heard GW come out with. Period.

While I cheerfully admit that I'm not terribly sure of the differences between UK and Canadian securities laws there are certain reporting requirements for publically listed companies that have to be in common. The ability to account for where your money has gone to your shareholders and the securities commision being one of them.

That and the fact that calculating Market Share/ROI's/ETC... is a first year university Policy and Environment course for a commerce major... and you don't stay in business for this long by being utter morons...

Puh-lease... you don't have to just come out and say your deliberately running the company at a small loss year after year to avoid having to pay Inland Revenue but at least don't come out with statement that asinine.  :oo

gah... Sorry... I'll shut up now.  :L

I must confess that Idon't know the first thing about business law etc. but that does sound rather odd... ???

Anyway: I've been gluing together some of the new Eldar EoVs. Beautiful models. Whle I liked the Scorpion form the pictures I think my favourites are the Stormserpent and the Cobra in the flesh.
I think it was Stormseer who also noted that the Scorpion seems a bit too flat and I think I agree. It isn't much but just 1/2 mm of plasticard to lift the turret a bit would probably do the trick.

Cheers! :)

Sweet shockin' Stompa there, Kr00za. Very orkish, and I still am surprised by your plasticard skillz.

Firestorm, you got some nice conversions there. Keep em coming.

I've been messing with my computer again. Final conclusion is that the next time I'll be buying a PC and the OS, I'm going to tell them that if they do anything beyond just putting the machine together I'll hunt down and kill every one of them in most excruciating way possible. So much have they messed up this time.

The second Iron Angel went through basic assembly, cutting, feature removal and subsequent reassembly. I'm going to do some even more insane sculpting there - remember the art on cover of Codex: Dark Angels? Noticed the chest symbols in shape of Angel? Uh-huh. That's what I'm going to do...

With my computer at higher efficiency level, I could finally get seriously to recording Bloodrayne speed run without such a major lag like previously (controls were barely responsive!!!). Run of the first episode is done, but the time for it is 09:07, and on occasions I managed better ones.

Been reading Cthulhu Mythos again. When I play Metallica's "Call of Kthulu" in the background, the sheer volume of visceral horror is so great that it's almost tangible in the air.
"Whisperers in the dark" is a great story, but a word of advice is to never read it alone in the night in a barely lit room... can scare the hell out of you.
Chtulhu fhtagn!

Finally, for the last few months the posting of "Army Champion" became empty words for me. I've decided to pull out of this, and as I have lost the email adress to Jervis, I've posted a notice on EA part of SG forum instead. I'll still be popping around here, since altough my interest in Epic has faded a lot from its initial strength, I still enjoy being a part of the EpiComms community and would like to continue being one for some time still.

Hey folks!

First off - Krooza... what can I say? Wow! That Stompa is just amazing...
More Picts, please...?? ...maybe of it painted? :)

As for me... I've been working on 'polishing off' my Biel-Tan forces... assembling the
last infantry stands that I might need, assembling the new Court of the Young King,
and converting two E40k-era Scorpion SHvy Gravtanks into StormSerps.

All my SHvies are based on E40k-era Scorpions and Cobras and I'm not so impressed
with the new 'Official' StormSerp model, so my buddy Tony and I have hatched a new
conversion that should look pretty durn cool (IMHO! :))

I'll be posting photos soon...
Larry

Finished assembleing my new Eldar EoVs adn gave them a white spray undercoat. Those models sure are sweet! (Sorry Larry :p :;):  )

I also gave a bunch of ork vehicles a coat of Go Fasta Red. Tomorrow they'll get a bit of shading and highlighting.

Cheers1 :)

Good job everybody! Me, I just finished putting additional floor supports to the attic. After I've put the floorboards back it's time to start erecting wall supports.  Project "war room" has begun. :;):
