Hi!
You're definitely a collector in the truest sense of the word. ?
Me, as a horder, getting lots for a little is my way. ?

Hi Guys,
Primarch brings up an interesting question:
*** Are you a hoarder or a collector? ***
In fact, I think I'll start a new thread with this question.
Topic: QUESTION: Are you a hoarder or a collector?

Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak. | Hi!
I thought about this difference when I responded to the other thread regarding gaming and collecting.
I agree there is a difference between really "collecting" and outright mass accumulation (hording).

Good evening from Australia.I think it is a copy. Also the head is missing as well as the original weapons.Still it may have suffered damage from having the paint stripped.I am (to date) a sleeping member. On the chance its real I also will be bidding. This is going to be costly!!

Kelm,
Glad to see you made it over here. As I said to you in the email, I know you will enjoy. The people here are wonderful (even if we sometimes bid against each other ).

I find it an interesting feature of the group that you cheerfully up each others bids!! Do members ever work together to win the auction at a more reasonable price?Does everyone who has bid so far on this item belong to this group?Just think about the lucky person who had them, is now selling and is about to get a surprise $ wind fall.On a complete tangent has any one managed to get their hands on any of the Unreleased feral ork models?

We did attempt a bid-share scheme a while back, but it is frustrating to find that it then falls to a last minute bidder who gets the item very cheaply.
It is quite common that one person will bid and then sell off the excess, and this is sometimes co-ordinated. In the end, it is fun just to play by the usual EBay rules and see what happens.
In the end, it is better that the seller gets a surprise bonus, and decides to seel anything else, rather than being dissapointed in the final price and giving up.

The short answer is that we have a gentlemen's agreement to only compete over stuff we really want and to not take bidding wars personally.
Check the Ebay Usernames thread for 12 _pages_ of discussion on bid competition issues.

Hi!
So, I guess the consensus is that its "real". Its a pretty good find, but the price may get prohibitive.
Hopefully, someone in these forums will get it.
