Hi!

Some sort of movable artillery base would be nice.

I still cant get over the two keyboard keys, most inventive!

I need help teacher, I can't get past the "It is a Rhino" problem. :(

Course, it looks liek a great Rhino with a major morter, but then I guess, I will just have to wait.

heh - I agree, actually, it still looks like a Rhino. But Rome wasn't built in one day, was it? And there's ToEG, and the Epicomp to cater for too...... :D :p
What is really needed are features which clearly represent the 6mm scale - so far, everything is still potentially in 28mm. Anyway, if this fails, I could still use it in 40K...... :p :p

My thoughts exactly. Maybe you could add some sort of girder platforms and walkways or something... add a few thin oval pieces of plasticard to represent doors etc.

As I said, I will just wait to see. :p

I trust the teacher will help me see the CI in the end.

I, too, still see a Rhino. :(  However, I have faith that the Enginseer will reveal this rhino's inner identity as a CI! :p

Hi all,
2 minutes more work on the CI: a few scraps of plasticard have covered the circular hole around the cannon. Not much, but it's another step forward. The next jons will see the scale being 'changed', hopefully!

Hi Farseer - as promised!  :D  :D  :D

THE TWO TOWERS

Hi all,
I added a pair of observation towers next, one on either side of the gun.

TOWERS AGAIN

I used some square section plastic, but wanted to add an observation aperture. I don't have a Dremel tool (yet) so the easiest way was to use a straight-edged file to inscribe a shallow cut right across the section, then build up the ends of the cut back with putty to enclose the slit - the pic should explain what I mean. I undercoated one tower to show the general appearance, and realised I had lots more sanding to do! But you should get the idea.

cheers all.  :D

Getting much better. But unless you remove the exhaust pipes and side doors it will still look like a Rhino, at least to me.  :)
