I'm not sure how many French members we have, but let me wish you all a Happy Bastille Day!
I make it point ot listen to Rush's "Bastille Day" every July 14th.

Hi Everyone,
Happy Bastille Day!
A friend I know wrote this:
"Today to celebrate French Independence Day I plan to have some French toast with my French roast coffee and watch some movies from my favorite French actor Jean Reno. For lunch I will have a French Dip Sandwich with a side of (of course) French Fries. So go out today and show your love of the French by buying some Confrontation miniatures from you friendly neighborhood game store."
It works for me!
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Heh. I did have a French Dip sandwich for lunch yesterday. I didn't even think of that until reading Maksim's post just now.

Quote (Jimbo @ 15 2005 July,15:30) | What is a French Dip sandwich?
I love french food, but have never heard of a French Dip sandwich! | Hi Jimbo,
I'm not the biggest fan of them, but a French Dip sandwich is sort of like a roast beef sandwich with a rich meat sauce on the side for dipping the sandwich into.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Traditionally, it's shaved prime rib on a baguette with au jus on the side. Very tasty.
However, it is not uncommonly just roast beef on a roll of some kind with some sort of broth-like stuff for dipping.
