Not sure if the one year old was interested in the show or just having daddy hold him while he drank his bottle. ? ?

So what was in your bottle - beer or whiskey? :p

Sorry, no spirits in my house. Diet Coke for me all the way.

However, in Daniel's bottle was warm formula.  :;):

That does sound like an interesting H/Chan. show ... I'd love to see it !  We used to call our Air/Land Battle Doctrine; the 21st Century Blitzkrieg ! It obviously worked it two wars !   :D

I recieved some of my money back on one of the auctions that went bad.

I also recieved some of the 15mm troops I won.

Now we shall see if the Gorka Morka comes through or not...

They were comparing and contrasting the German Blitz in the early WWII to the American Blitz in the Operation Freedom.

It was most interesting.

dafrca

It does sound interesting.

It is running on the Military Channel. Not sure times etc. but their listing shows it will be re-run on July 2nd and July 3rd.

Here is the little listing they give:
Battleplan
Blitzkrieg

Blitzkrieg literally means Lightning War, a combat strategy that is hard, fast and merciless. Take an in depth look at the technological revolution which made the modern Blitzkrieg possible, at case studies of it in action, and the dangers involved.

Hope you get to see it.

dafrca

Sadly, I don't get the Military Channel at home.  :{  I'd have to pay something like an extra $30 a month to get my cable company's "digital package" to that channel. My cable bill is expensive enough as is! However, my neighbor across the street has is it and we're both military history junkies!

Hi John and Daniel,

I just got back from picking up your copies of "Monster Island" and "Invasion of Monster Island."

I brought Daniel's package with me and stopped by the postal office on the way home. Daniel, your package is sent. It should show up tomorrow or on Saturday if all is well.

While at the post office, I picked up a customs form for your package, John. Would you please send me your address?

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

I did not get the Gorka Morka Epic. But that is OK, It was a "for fun" bid.

I did have fun watching another auction. At the last few seconds two different people hit the auction (Snip software I am sure). It went from $112 to $315.

I would love ot see their faces when they look at the auction.

Such is the way of the Ebay.

Well, I gave up finding my Card Reader, so I went by and bought a new one this morning. I will try and put up a few pictures later tonight.

Well, we have started the "Cold Merry-Go-Round" at my house. For those without Kids, let me explain the rules of this game.

1) Small Child goes to day care and brings home some kind of ?Cold?.
2) Small Child gets sick and needs parent to comfort them, regardless of time.
3) Parents get less then required sleep thus their immune systems get weak.
4) Small Child wants to be held upright (stuffy Head) so Parent sits in Lazy Boy chair or similar device to hold child.
5) This places child?s face within inches of Parents face, thus they breath in lots of these nice Germs or Viruses.
6) Parent gets cold.
7) Now one parent can transfer this cold to other child or other Parent.
8) Cross contaminate for at least three to four transfers and you are on the Merry-Go-Round.

Had a better night last night. Daniel only woke twice, Maddy slept most of the night through with some minor coughs. Mommy and Daddy slept mostly too.

So I hope we are on the down slide heading to health again.

Finished reaing the first of the MI books Maksim sent to me. Posted some observations over on the Kaiju thread.

Daniel crashed at about 11:45 this morning and I laid down next to him. Next thing I knew it was like 1:30. :;):  I have not had a mid day nap in a long time. It was nice.

I have started to build up stuff for my semi-annual mental day. I am going to take Maddy to Y Camp, then come back and build some shelves. Once those are done, it should be hot enough, I will primor a lot of stuff. While that dries, I am going to clense the garage. Some stuff goes out for dump, some to donate, some to be reorganized and returned to the gargage. Should be fun.

I have also found out that my local store owner has said I could have one of his "figure" boxes. I am going to use it for my IG. :D

Cool! I can't wait to read what you have written.

I have a feeling that Summer Camp for Maddy will be a good thing for the family... it will probably be a little more quiet while she's gone although I know that you'll miss her. I would...

*** Baby Daniel is still on the pacifier, right? ***

Ah, peace and quiet! :D

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.
