With spindles of wasted and spam CD's, ideas on how to make these useful always came to mind. So I decided to use these as bases. They were ideal for small terrain pieces and scenic pieces.

I ended up doing my competition entry Slaughtered Like Wolves using a CD. I've done some small terrain pieces using them too.

And with the Cowboy and Indian thread on this forum, I'm also hoping to use the CD (but a bit small) which spured on another idea.... Stomp Fest.

Anyway, just throwing ideas to people. It'd be nice to have a competition category for best Scene on CD  :D

I've used cd's for a while now, ever since a building I bought off Ebay came mounted on one.  They work good.

I agree CDs are awsome. They've got just the right thickness and size for an interesting piece without them being either too big or too small.
I based the BFG space station I entered in the GothiComp on a CD.

Cheers! :)

Hi!

I have seen them used as mounts for terrain pieces and they indeed look very good, almost like they were intended for such use. :)

I thought that was why AOL was sending them to me.

So I would have enough to build stuff on...  :p

Hi!

At least using them for terrain is better than my use of them as frisbees....  :;):  :D

See I like to think I did use them for their intended purpose.

AOL sent them to be useful to me, and they were. ?:p
