Hi there. In last tome i'm counting the costs of the Tau Orca Lander including with contens like FW or Broadsides.

The Lander is not so expensive. But the options what he can load is a Problem i think.

No option of crisis suits is really bad.

But i will not give up.

I have count only the two options.

450pts with Broadsides

or

475pts with 12 FW

But here comes my Questions.

Can i load Gundrones as upgrade in the Orca? Then i could Refuse the FW upgrade und put the GD in.


Then at least i favorise the orca with FW. The Disrupt make the chance to hit the enemy really hard.
The broadside option can i forget. I think without the orca they are better as garrison in fieldcontrol.

What do you think about the orca? Has anyone here practice with them?

I've used Orcas a lot - loaded up with Crisis formation+2 crisis. Land and shoot - pretty devastating, at the right target (ie a markerlit one) they are as good as any air assault. Difficulty is getting the Orcas through the AA
