Hey guys,

I was always interested in epic 40,000, but no-one I knew actually played, but recently the owner of the local game shop bought up a boatload of IG and squat stuff and there's a few people playing now and I'd loveto take this oppirtunity to put an army together.

When I usually pick up a new game like this I tunnel vision on a theme and use that to get my foot in the door, and I go from there. What this means is I'd like to do an epic version of my warhammer 40k army which is the Aurora Chapter.

The gimmick with the Aurora Chapter is that they have as many Predators as 3 normal chapters, so I would like to play as mant predators as I could get my hands on. So what I'm asking is, is there a way to build a workable list that spams predators, and what would be the basic framework for such a list??

Thanks in advance

Yep, the Scions of Iron is a very fun list that allows you to use a lot of Predators. The basic Codex Marine list can work too, but you have to work harder in battle to have it work. The Preds can put out a lot of fire, but aren't all that resilient. But by all means, give it a go! It's a very cool tank.

2 lots of pred annihilators with hunters and 1 lot of pred destructors is an ok basis. Might want to support them with a reaver, then have the rest of the army specialist in anti infantry work.
