What an interesting list!
I've tried something similar, but not quite to that extreme. I'm a newer player so please take my comments with a grain of salt. I found I did well to start, but was constantly tempted to retain. This reduced the effectiveness of my higher activation numbers. My opponent had a more standard mixed list which meant there were only so many targets that were ideal for my blitz brigades to attack. This again made it hurt when I retained as he was able to keep these juicy targets back until later. I also found I needed to work on my Flakwagon spread. It's crazy the number of aircraft with AT guns having a 20cm+ range. My clever opponent seemed to easily dodge my AA attacks as he picked off easy targets. Again, this could easily be chalked up to my experience.

One thing that quickly became apparent was how squishy these formations can be. I found either one lucky attack or two standard luck attacks tended to break them. This would be one attack killing two (5+ armour) for 3 BM's on 2 tanks or two attacks killing one for 3BM's on 3 tanks. I then had to run the formation far back as the 5+ to rally then made life difficult enough without it being 6+ for enemy within 30cm. This is where I found myself doing well early but then struggling later. At the end of the day this list has 9 formations which are really good at killing one unit. Sometimes that will be a super heavy tank and you'll look awesome. Other times it will be a guardsman or a fire warrior and it will feel a bit disappointing.

The final big choice is when to send out the Landas. If you send them too early and your opponent smartly starts castled up, it'll be a suicide mission. This isn't just for the Warband, but for the precious Landa as well.

I'm posting this now only to give you my experiences to help when you try the list out as I want to see it used effectively. I look forward to some battle reports and suggestions on how to best use this list from the more experienced Ork Warlords. :)

Hi!

I have recently buyed a bunch of orcs very cheap at E-bay, and now I own some skorchas. There are five Buggies and 5 Skorchas so I can make a Formation of 5 Skorchas and 3 Buggies.
Also there were some Bikes, so that I have a total of 12 Bikes.

So I am thinking of substitude one Blitz Brigade with the Skorchas and maybe another with the Bikes. Because they have for the same point cost more Units per formation. The Skorchas can support with their good FF-Value one of the Landa Formation and the Bikes are an additional Formation that can try to engage something in CC.

But on the other side: As long as the Landas are in the Air, the AP-Weapons of the enemy are useless when there are only Blitz-Brigades as AV on the field. This advantage is gone when I include the Bikes and the Skorchas.
So what do you think - schould I include them or better not?

Hello!

I have forgotten, that you are waiting for an report.
So I played the List on three games at our last tournament (I got the seccond place)
And it worked, although I need more practice. The Blitz-Brigades are really vulnerable, and once they are broken, you get them not often back into the fight with a 5+ to rally. So you really need to decide if you stay out of sight or if you take the risk to Zzap an enemy formation for a Blast Marker. At the Tournament I played them too aggressive, and then the number of my activations got fast down.
And two Landa-Units, which are both BTS are no good Idea, I think in every game my opponents got my BTS.
So I have modified my List:

WARBAND [250]
2 Nobz, 6 Boyz, 2 Grotz, 2 Boyz + Grotz, Warlord

WARBAND [250]
2 Nobz, 6 Boyz, 2 Grotz, 2 Boyz + Grotz

LANDA [200]

LANDA [200]

BLITZ BRIGADE [275]
Gunfortress, 2 Flakwagon, 2 Gunwagon

FIGHTA SKWADRON [150]
3 Fighta Bomba

FIGHTA SKWADRON [150]
3 Fighta Bomba

FIGHTA SKWADRON [150]
3 Fighta Bomba

KULT OF SPEED [225]
4 Warbuggy, 5 Skorcha

BLITZ BRIGADE [200]
Oddboy, 2 Flakwagon, 2 Gunwagon

BLITZ BRIGADE [200]
Oddboy, 2 Flakwagon, 2 Gunwagon

BLITZ BRIGADE [200]
Oddboy, 2 Flakwagon, 2 Gunwagon

BLITZ BRIGADE [200]
Oddboy, 2 Flakwagon, 2 Gunwagon

BLITZ BRIGADE [200]
Oddboy, Flakwagon, 3 Gunwagon

BLITZ BRIGADE [150]
Flakwagon, 3 Gunwagon

As you see: Still 15 activations, but the Blitz Brigade with the Fortress is BTS and I can hide it easily. There is no Oddboy, so I lose no firepower when this formation only race from out-of-sight to out-of-sight. I know, the fortesses are not so heavily armoured as a Baneblade for example, but it hast still more armour then the wagonz! And if there is only one Titankiller Weapon on the other side of the table, this formation will hide the whole game and acts only for activations ;)

I also added some skorchas, because I think they are a good support for the Landa-Units and it is another formation which I can move from cover to cover without thinking I am waisting the shot from a ZZap-Gun. They should only sneak at the enemy and when the time is right come out and support an Landa-assault.

Very interesting! I really did not like your BTS until you explained the hide and go seek intent of it. I still think it's a bit vulnerable, but if you keep it away from objectives, the worst that might happen is teleporting termites kill it and are then stuck in the middle of nowhere.

I look forward to hearing how this goes!
