Two (solo) 2,000 point batreps for a fan list i'm working on. It's for black templars (list here)...

viewtopic.php?f=73&t=31099i won't go into the specific reasons for running a fan list now but (hopefully) suffice to say it was a considered action, and i'd be happy to discuss further.
this was my first opportunity to get the BT on the table (with paint barely dry). i hope to have a real battle vs live opponent soon. and it was also the first trial of my batrep software (output follows).

overall conclusions
-------------------
the extra size of the marine formations can definitely be offset by the higher activation count and coordinated attacks from vanilla marines.
additionally, knocking out transportation (i.e. marines on foot) definitely reduces their maneuverability and overall effectiveness
will be running more solo trials vs knights and eldar soon.
