Start of Game

Hell Talons go on CAP.

Tacs sustain and lay a BM on the Raptors.

Chosen double and take out a Hyperios.

Hyperios overwatch.

Raptors march.

Storm Talons CAP.

A retinue doubles and lay a BM on the SC, they get overwatched on the way in and loose a Vindicator and a Rhino.

Dev Centurions double and take a marine and a Rhino.

The armored double and lay a BM on the Dev Centurions.

Hyperios break themselves.

Forgetting my CAP, Storm Talons destroy the Hyperios and a bunch of Marines after making two saves (the jerks).

Storm Talons voice their displeasure.

Chosen double and screen.

Another unit of Storm Talons take out the last Hell Talon.

The Warlord doubles.

Scouts screen.

The Warlord goes on overwatch.

Assault Centurions double and break the retinue.

Terminators teleport in.

Turn 2, Assault Centurions engage the armor. 2-2.

They break.

Dev Centurions engage them.

They wipe them out.

Chosen hack down a Hyperios.

Storm Talons lay a BM on the Warlord.

Hell Talons take out a Thudd Gun.

The SC lays a BM on the Raptors.

Terminators double and take out a Dev Centurion.

Hell Talons take out a Marine in the Warlord's formation.

The retinue lays a BM on the Dev Centurions.

Storm Talons take out two Chosen.

They marshal.

Scouts double and lay a BM on the Chosen.

Raptors fail to engage with the reroll and regroup.

Tacs march.

The Warlord marshals.

The BTS remains on overwatch.

A retinue engages.

2-2 Chaos.

Terminators wiped out for two daemons.

Scouts advance and lay a BM on the Chosen.

They summon and engage anyway.

No losses.

Devastator Centurions marshal out of engage range.

The Warlord grabs T&H.

Raptors double to screen the Blitz.

Storm Talons break them.

Hell Talons lay a BM On the Tacs.

Storm Talons lay a BM on the Chosen.

Terminators double and take out a Marine in the SC formation.

The SC fails and regroups.

The BTS doubles and takes out a Marine.

They march to deny Blitz.

Storm Talons destroy the Raptors.

Another unit lays a BM on the Chosen.

They engage again.

No losses again.

Dev Centurions advance on the Terminators and lay a BM.

Assault Centurions engage and break them for no losses.

Hell Talons put a lot of hits on the SC but they save them all.

Storm Talons FINALLY kill a Rhino.

The BTS lays a BM on the SC after some more saves.

They march to deny Blitz.

Chosen lay a BM on the Dev Centurions.

So does the Retinue.

In the end it went to points (CaptPiett didn't want to play a 5th turn as I'd "Probably win 5-0 with two stands or something"). We didn't bother counting it up as the Black Legion had it pretty handily.

I was pretty annoyed with myself as I wrote up the captions. My mistakes were numerous (forgot my CAP, didn't prep the Assault Centurion assault, didn't stall and put the Hyperios on overwatch first) and some crap luck mid-game made a win impossible. I only pulled out a points loss thanks to luck swinging back in my favor with a bunch of saves for the SC turn 4.

I'll write up some thoughts on the Fists and ask the guys do chime in too. I think it's good enough to be approved.
