Had a few games over the weekend, one was a Knight game that I took my camera out for. I took Marines and DwarfSupreme the Knights.

So a pretty bloody game with a good handful of failed activations. The Marines won it with Blitz and T&H.

The Errants and Custodians were priority targets and luckily I was able to shut them down by early turn 2. I wasn't happy having to air assault the Errants in turn 1, but after a clip it wasn't too bad. After that I just kept on shooting them and hacking them down as I didn't want them shooting or engaging my Marines.

I have to say that the Wardens are a pretty solid AA determent. Since the army wants to stay close together to avoid crossfire a 30cm bubble covers a whole lot.

Yes, it was a bloody game. Given my miserable luck in activating Turn 1, I was amazed that I managed to force the game to turn 4.

This is the the second game in a row that I've played a formation of AA Wardens. I have to say I'm becoming a fan of them. As Dave said they provide a decent AA bubble and once you get in range of ground targets, 12 shots can be effective. In the future I might try a 4-strong Warden formation so that I can try out the other variants.
