Interesting report. I note you are trying HBs with Warp Spiders and seem happy with their performance. Could you elaborate please, how each type fared in each combat and how many assaults each formation took part in or supported.

That seems to be the tradeoff for the HBs, weaker armour for a stronger attack. The issue is that being CC specialists means they cannot clip opponents and are more likely to suffer return fire from the target or supports. Their weaker armour means they are far less robust than WS so struggle to win several assaults in a game.
The only way around this conundrum seems to be to mount them in Wave Serpents which are also placed in B-B withe the target to absorb some of the hits.Obviously using Wave Serpents precludes combining with WS, and reduces the benefit of Infiltrate. . .
